This guy will be a puppet, same as Deila was. Exactly what the board want. Someone they can get away with not backing and that will mean keeping Kennedy as well. This * about the backroom staff being the deal breaker with Howe is a lot of nonsense. The other rumour regarding transfer targets and Howe not being pleased with them is far more plausible. Howe will have been in contact with the people he wanted to bring with him, and he will have known from the beginning whether they were interested or not. He hasn't just approached them yesterday and asked if they want to come with him and they have said no thanks. This board are a complete and utter disgrace. Let's hope the fans vote with their feet and we can chase this shower of parasite out our club.

That's so far wide of the mark. This time yesterday if you were told we will appoint Ange Postecoglu about 99% of us would have laughed and said who. The board have treated us like mugs and that is not even up for debate. We are currently in the worst state we've been in since the 90s and face a massive rebuild. It's now 94 days since Lennon and the best we can come up with is the 9th best team in Japans manager come on to * surely you must realise this is about the bigger picture just look at the links all roads lead back to Lawwell. It's come to the stage where something like this is to be expected.

When the other lot were run by people like Green and Whyte, something like this was always on the cards. That this fiasco is overseen by supposedly men of business (Desmond, Bankier) makes it even harder to comprehend. Do they want to ruin whatever is left of their legacy, just to insult the fanbase?

Can't honestly get to grips with what has been going on for the past few years.

 

The statement they put out regarding Howe was a slap in the face to the fans. It was meant to look like hey guys we are communicating with you but instead it took us for mugs. Would have been better saying nothing. We are about to get a City group job lot as our 'new and dynamic' managerial set up.

I don't know what dodgy goings on are happening behind the scenes regarding Lawell and Desmond but we always go back to the same characters when we are recruiting. Whether that be players or staff. Lawell might not be in the building next season but rest assured his hand prints will still be all over things behind the scenes for a very long time to come.

I think fans like you are part of the problem to be honest.

I agree with a few things you said, like we hate when other teams and leagues say our players and league are * and we should only judge him on his results with us if he is appointed. And that I agree with.

But, you talk about being here through the bad days, well part of the problem is you will buy a season ticket and spend money on the club no matter what. We all support Celtic and care a lot about Celtic, it’s a way of life.

But even if the decision makers keep making shocking decisions and not caring about the fans but using us as a way to make money, you will still spend. And that’s the problem, we deserve to be treated better and not taken advantage of because some will follow blindly.

This is how the dark days begin to come back. We accept the mediocrity, spend a lot of our hard earned money and just get on with it. They get richer but spend less because they know they can.

 

No offence mate but if this guy is appointed i will support him and the team, i will never not support my team. But theres not a chance in * i will blindly hand over my money for tickets merchandise etc.. just to line those * on the boards pockets. If you are happy to hand over your cash no questions asked then thats fine but that doesnt make you a bigger or better supporter than those of us who are sick of pumping money in just to be treated like absolute mugs.

 

That gives me the fear. Jack Hendry will get bounced off the ball after his first touch and we'll be a goal down inside 2mins.

 

Nothing to answer the first question other than being a City Group employee.

On the second I genuinely think he is, not financially but due to our recent decline, Slavia are a club in for better shape than us to qualify for CL, do well in Europa and dominate their league. They also have a
settled team in addition, after the scenario against them will also probably put him off.

I would love to get him but I don’t think he would come here.
