Potential Manager Suggestions?

Exactly,* trying to sugar coat this.

We need a young up and coming manager,from Spain/Germany/Switz/Holland.

Someone that works on a lower budget but knows how to integrate youth at the right time. This guy is the opposite of all this,he may be a nice guy and fair * to him for even getting a look in,but his track record is a disgrace already at 55 years old.

Im not blaming this guy one bit if he gets this job and it falls apart before Xmas,again its on the scum in charge of us.

But as it stands what we have currently got is a guy who is not first and probably not second choice, who in 25 years of coaching has done absolutely nothing of note to warrant managing a club like Celtic.

 

The way it's all been handled is appalling. The Howe deal was dead and the * persisted with it for money from season tickets. Its a business first to them. They're not fit for purpose. A cancer to the club.

Plan A took at least 3 months to formulate and it fell through. Our plan B is a guy who let's be honest most folk never heard of and probably thought was a woman after reading the name.

Any person coming in will get backed but this reeks of another last minute panic ala Lennon in the showers or Deila. A name plucked from connections to Man City. This is Lawell all over.

Howe excited us because of his football and his dedication to attacking football. But also because he knew how to use a squad and plan ahead in regards to youth. We're now binning this and hoping for a a quick fix purely to get straight in to the CL to make money. The short termism by this board is infuriating.

If its Ange whatever his name is, it will be a let down, no doubts about it. But he'll get a chance. But the knives will be out for him instantly for a bad result in the qualifiers or in the league. I would also expect to see Keenedy and Strachan remain should he be appointed also.

The board despise us and never have our back. It'll show with their actions over the next few months and we'll have no options but to accept it. Gutted.

Remember we were told the reason we weren't getting rid of lennon in November was due to the exciting, wholesale changes we were making in the summer?

Remember we were told that the automatic CL entry was a "game changer" for us and we were about to spend big?

And here we are, 3 months after getting rid of our manager still with no plan in place and seemingly on the verge of appointing a guy whose CV wouldn't get him the Dundee job.

Still waiting on DOF and on the verge of appointing some no mark Ozzie...

The amount of hypocrisy on here from regulars is posinous.
We at everypoint do not like other leagies fans ect telling us how * our players, managers or league are. In most circumstances we will defend that and rightly so.
We now seem to be googling his name and checking his prior stats to hit the guy with a yard stick. If hes winning leagues with * players, or hes finishing 9th in a pandemic then so be it. The J league like it or not is of higher standard than the SPL.
Said this yesterday, it tells alot about Sleekit Eddies character that he wouldnttake a job cause his pals are not coming along. Diddums! Hes a shitebag if that's the case. At least this guy is willing to travel around the world and give his all and commit.
We all want a farve or a rangnick. Irs not happening. I will back this guy as we back the team. If he gets his message across and sticks to his morals and his style. (attack, possession high press) and bleeding youth. (hes only ever bought like 5 players)
Then what else do we ask for. Judge him on his results with us and US ALONE! We have a higher calibre per player im sure than he will have had before. Maybe its a case his style will fit us to a tee with the players we have.

 

Hes got 50 odd days to double that in a market hes never shopped in.

Any manager worth their salt now know, without any element of doubt, that they’re number 2 choice. So they’ll - I would, you would - look to hold Celtic over a barrel and demand control of players, ethos, culture change and coaches.
