I think that Wenger guy had done 6/7 years at Monaco prior to that. He even got them to a Champions League semi final in that time.

    Geez peace

Anyone that thinks we're unearthing 55 year old managerial gems in Asia that no other European club has thought to give a chance until now, needs to give themselves a shake.

We couldn't spot that an Internationally-capped son of a former Chairman who was shining in our League for years and had played and scored against one of our most dominant sides ever, might be worth signing at £2.5m.

The truth is they've put all their eggs into the Howe basket, it's now backfired, they're about to appoint Harkin as the DoF and they've made a panic call to him to ask if there's anyone worth looking at.

An innovative, forward-thinking football club that doesn't believe in making hasty decisions. Pull the other one fs...

    * up, Paul.

Your hipster pish was laughably boring 5 years ago. We get it. You don’t understand modern footballing terms or different ideas.

Being “old fashioned” isn’t a personality trait.

    It’s a pointless debate. I’m essentially defending a guy I don’t want in charge.

The guy might be out of his depth if he comes here. All I’m saying is that, at the level he’s worked at, he’s been successful. That much can’t be denied.

Whether it means he can do it at a higher level remains to be seen. I wish he was doing it at another club, but it seems like it’ll be here.

Last year we needed to sign Forster to have a hope of winning the league. Lawwell saw how much he was gonna cost and scoffed at it, saying "I know a Greek guy that's just as good who'll cost half the price."

After watching our whole club fall apart following that decision, we get into the situation where we need a manager to regain our title and that fat * going to do it again.

Seen that McGowan is running with this, but he's also going by the Bookie odds instead of any insider knowledge.

My hope is that his name has only popped up because of his links to City.

My first reaction earlier when i first heard was to laugh, its the cherry on top for this bin fire of a season.

I'm no surprised our back up options are less than inspiring though, when we hired Rodgers it was a win/win for everyone, he couldn't fail. But now the jobs one of the most high risk jobs out there, the negatives outweigh the positives with the rebuild and all the other * it entails.

And that's on the wretches on the board for letting us spiral, short sited *.

Wow what a shambles this has become :giggle1:

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. But if it's gonna be Ange Postecoglou, then by *, he better be surprisingly good cause this next couple of years are vital.
