The shambles of a season is complete. I’m no buying it about the back room staff either. I think if it was the back room staff, then Howe would have known before now that he wasn’t going to take the job, because I have no doubt he will have had discussions with the people he would have wanted with him. This just reeks of our board doing what the my do best. * about and * about until a deal finally collapses. We make a mess of nearly every negotiation we enter into. Nothing is ever straight forward with us. It’s all ok though, we will get a £50 voucher to spend in the shop if we renew. The brass neck on these * is unbelievable. I won’t be giving them another bolt until the situation is sorted, and that’s only if we show ambition with the appointment.

Well at least we know for sure that the was absolutely NO planning or rebuild going on behind the scenes with regards to players.

Back in pre season training in a matter of weeks and we are back to square one.

 

I 100% believed a manager announcement was coming today , he was given a take it or leave it call today , someone finally pushed the button and I dont think everyone was on board about the choice , howe = lots of spending and a massive project , in business terms it represents a huge risk financially if it goes pear shaped .
Really we should have been looking at a bit more experience especially in European terms for nanager imo ,but for some reason the vast majority of us bought into this and possibly forced the hand of the club .

I didn’t understand people taking it for granted that there was work going on behind the scenes. We have had no communication from the board, so the Howe deal collapsing is no great surprise in my opinion. This board are as incompetent as they come. Next season is as good as gone now I think.

Couldn't sort plan A in 3 months. Plan B to sort in a fortnight is gonna be a * riot. The board will be praying for fans to be locked out for a while yet. They don't want to face the * storm they created.

There is no plan B, all spin and lies. They have no more goodwill left to cash with the fans. Unless they pull out a masterstroke. But its unlikely. Absolute car crash......with no end in sight.
