Just back from the Fulham game, saw something at half time that made me wonder if WGS might chuck it all in you know.

Players head off to the tunnel, I'm with ma boy and we heads down to the corner so he can take some good pics as the players come off. Anyway, just as WGS is about to head down the tunnel, some guy that was in the disabled section gives WGS dogs abuse.

Really going for it big time, and WGS reacts, comes over to the guy and gives him some of it back. Wee man stood for a few seconds right in front of him giving it "shut the * up" and all that but this guy wouldna stop. Only when a security guy stuck his arm around Wee Gordan did it all calm down.

Guy was a bit of a * actually, his actions after WGS went down the tunnel told me that. We were only a few feet away from it all.

Of course WGS is in the public eye and should be used to abuse from fans but surely not those supporting the team he is manager of. Yeh we were 2-1 down, and we all pays our money for our tickets, and we are entitled to an opinion. But cmon, 2 games in 2 days pre-season, is this dogs abuse really whats needed.

I like Gordon Strachan, in fact I like any man that manages Celtic to 3 league titles on the spin. And I really dont appreciate this guy giving the dogs abuse that he gave to Gordon. Brings me to wonder if Gordon is gonna hang around.

WGS should have just punched him in the nose. What gives him the right to shout abuse like that?

Can't see him chucking it, he has been round long enough to know that this comes with the territory.

    ^^ Prophetical.

Anyway, I'm a fan of Gordon... but he should know he's digging a hole for himself by giving it back. :86:

  5. He sounds a right *. hope he gets done in and banned from CP, we done need "supporters" like that. * like that should be at the darkside.

Disappointing to hear this. But hopefully not indicative of the majority or of the coming season. It's a warm up game so any guy getting so angry about it is not the full shilling.

Of course it won't be indicative of the majority for the coming season.

It's pathetic some people do this, I mean I understand some folk have doubts about Strachan - I've pretty much always backed him but had a few doubts around March last season - but at least they try and be constructive. Getting on the managers back because we're 2-1 down in a friendly away from home after playing a game less than 24 hours earlier is ridiculous.

Would say I find it suprising but I was looking at some Prem forums earlier today and the amount of fickle fans is amazing. WGS deserves the full backing of the support for the start of the season.
