It's been fed to the papers by the Club so more than speculation

 

Not if it's in your contract not to agree to join another team, even if it's not an official unveiling it would be clear he's been in negotiations and possibly signed a pre contract agreement. Type of things lawyers might be all over to renege on a significant pay out. If it's a substantial payment he's waiting on then he and his agent might not want the grief and possibly even sought legal advice that told them to wait it out.

 

How do you know it's been fed to the papers by the club?

 

Because you can tell with the detail in it. Its been fed to calm folk down cos of the news about Roy Hodgson yesterday imo

It will be Howe and it'll come out after the play offs or start of June. Its not unheard of for clubs/managers not to sign deals until the end of their previous contract is up (Or pretty much the end), Howe could still be getting some money from Bournemouth which stops him from signing a new deal or he losses that and its simply a case of we have an agreement and it starts from June because he wants that money, he will be doing background work it just simply cant be announced.

Similarly and probably as likely the staff he wants at Bournemouth are focusing on their play off campaign and it would be very poor form for both clubs to announce to the fans that said coaches are leaving during what is a stressful time for all. Same goes for potential compensation packages for the staff depending on league, or some might not want to come if they go to the premier league although i think Howe will already have his coaches set and ready regardless of league and its just a case of waiting until Bournemouth's play off run is over.

Either way it will be Howe now there has been too much talk of him and too little of anyone else for him not to get the job.

Knowing us, we won't hear anything for ages regardless.

 

His signing depends on champions league qualification or a last minute cheapo loan manager..

 

We will get absolutely dry bummed this year.
