I'm starting to think he's wanting the coaching staff in before committing because he doesn't trust Lawwell not to go back on his word and force coaches on him. He was apparently warned about PL

The apparent lack of progress with getting a new manager is concerning, but for me the really worrying thing is the lack of any progress in getting a DoF in by now. The DoF should be in place first and having input into appointing the manager. Knowing us we'll be holding off announcing the manager to announce both at the same time as some sort of new "dream team".

As much as the club have made an * of it there's no way that the Howe deal is dependant on him getting Bournemouth staff. I just can't see us holding off for this long if he wasn't def coming in. The lack of announcement must be to do with Howe directly and some clause he has in his Bournemouth contract that prevents him joining up officially before their season is done.

 

We could simply announce that he was taking up employment the day after this contract ends.

Imo he is stringing us along in the hope something comes up in England and our board don't have a decent plan b.

Possibly but I just don't think we would wait this long if he's only said maybe to us. His agent saying he won't be doing anything until the summer a while back looks to be playing out and I don't think that was just a throw away comment looking back at it. To me it looks like he can't do anything until the summer.

 

The deal must be done. Every news outlet is reporting its a done deal and only a matter of time before it’s announced. I can’t see the deal hinging on whether or not the bournemouth staff get promotion or not. He would’ve sounded out his backroom team before now and if they didn’t fancy it, he’d have moved onto other options.

The board will prob want to announce the new structure all at once and that includes any DOF.

I believe it is the staff he wants to come with them will lose there bonus paymnet if they accept a job before the end of season

 

By the way this goes, the only thing we know is that Desmond and Lawwell are poisonous for our club.
