Most excited I've been about one of our strikers this season.

 

Said it for a long time, deserves a chance next year.

He is physical, strong, good in the air, doesnt look slow either.

He'd be deadly off of Turnbull's set pieces to be fair..

Worth a chance under new set up, seems to have done reasonably well over in France. Do they have option to buy??

 

Possibly, I remember seeing something taht they might have but that they were unlikely to activate it

 

Yeah they do have an option it’s never been mentioned how much that option is, however both Hendry and Shved’s option to buys were more than I expected (£1.75m and £3m), so wouldn’t be that surprised if it was close to the £2m we paid for him.

 

Now scored 10 league goals and 2 Cup, and the goals becoming more common. I think someone will buy him, however I do think he could be an okay 3rd or 4th choice. Klimala is gone, Eddy will be off and I kind of expect Ajeti to be off. This leaves us with Griff and Bayo. I wouldn't be upset if he goes but he seems to be able to score from set pieces and high balls, something we lack so wouldn't moan if he stays, still room for 2 new strikers.

 

Can see Ajeti and barkas both staying.

I reckon the players know who the manager is as much as we all expect it to be Howe as well.

Think both will want to stay for that, things can only be better next season for them. Surely.

Don't think Howe (or anyone) is gonna want to shift any more out the door than already expecting to leave.

And I include bayo, unless his buyout is triggered, I think we will see him here next year.
With 12 goals, im happy enough to give him a chance, at least for the early part of July and August.

I was at the hearts game he played and gave them all kinds of problems in the box and throwing himself at crosses.
His style of play would have given us something different and would have allowed us to be more direct, instead of the one dimensional, narrow way we have played all season.
You can see from those Toulouse highlights what he offeres. He would have been the closest thing to a target man we would have had.
