He'd be a good option from the bench for us. His Aerial prowess could be valuable against packed defences. Its something we really lack.

That said, maybe the idea of having someone whos only good enough for the bench is a no go. Everyone should be pushing the starters

Glad he's doing well on loan, still, will take a lot of convincing that he can make it here.

One for the new coach to assess.

For me, he offers a different type of striker to the usual, does he look like a first choice superstar, no. But he does look like a good option to have. I wouldn't be too sad if he does go but I think he can do a job for us,wpukd be nice to see preseason, especially since we are going to be depleted anyway with potential just ajeti and youth since Eddie will be either gone or at the Olympics (and then gone) Griff may be away out of contract afolabi doesn't look like much from his championship loans and that it

As much as I’d love 4 Larsson’s as strikers in our team it ain’t happening. Hard to find a real good player who doesn’t mind being fourth choice. From what I’ve saw of him and how he can provide a different option, if the new manager is happy to keep him as a fourth striker so am I. We have a big enough rebuilding job as it is. Any loanees/youngsters who can come back in and provide depth is welcome.

I’d rather have him than ajeti and griff

6 goals in 22 appearances for French second tier team.. hardly inspiring stuff. Another masterstroke in the transfer window from Lawwell.. how much we pay for him again?

He’s played about 17 games in total worth of league minutes (he’s been a sub a lot). And he has 8 goals from what I can see which is actually a better than average return (your average striker is about 1 in 3), but in Ligue 2 I’d still be hoping for better.

I haven’t made my mind up on him, I’d give him a chance over preseason and if the new coach says he’s not good enough hopefully we get our money back at least.

I was glad when we bought Bayo as thought we needed another option upfront to change games when struggling in Scotland. I still think we need that option but not sure Bayo is the answer.

As Jordann mentioned he's been a sub for a lot of it, and considering we essentially need at least 3 new strikers next year, I'd take Bayo as our third choice imo.

Fair enough, but I can't see him being anything other than a third choice, chuck him on at the end of a game type player for us. Defo agree he should be given a chance considering what we have and their performances this season. Just can't see him making it here

Guys like Bayo and Shved should be kept on next season as back-ups imo, means we can focus more on other positions that need more attention.

I'd say the same for Hendry too, but if he rejects the chance to stay at Oostende permanently we can get a decent fee for him imo, so I'd be selling.

Some would rather we kept griff who thinks more about eating kebabs than giving his all for the club

Biggest problem is that Bayo and Shved have shown nothing to suggest they're good enough to be backup.

Shved is now back on the bench at Mechelen. He's been getting the last 5-10 mins for their past few games. Bayo has scored a few at Toulouse but even then I've seen some of their fans on Twitter saying how pish he is.

Like with Hendry, they should get a chance in pre-season, but I don't have high expectations for either of them.

Let's be completely honest, neither Shved nor Bayo were given any decent game time to prove they were good enough.

Did they show enough in training to warrant a game? I don't know, but we sign too many players and expect them to deliver in games were they are given 5-15min cameos.

Pretty much think most of us agree, Bayo and Shved should both be given a proper chance to see what they can do for us.

My honest opinion is Bayo won’t be good enough for the main striker, maybe 3rd or 4th choice but I don’t know why anyone would want to accept that.

And Shved, I think has the ability to challenge for first team, but lacks the professionalism or the work rate to do it. There’s just something off with him, because he is definitely talented.

Jack Hendry though... for the sake of his career I hope he leaves. I don’t think he has the mentality to handle pressure of playing for Celtic.

Don't understand what anyone has seen to suggest bayo is worth keeping. Not a terrible player but isn't of the standard we need, that's just the fact of the matter.

Just to put it in prospective who can say, with any level of conviction that he would have been more productive then eddy, Griff, ajeti or klimala? All of which have been rubbish this year but would bayo be ahead of any of them? I really doubt it.

Imo, if we intend to play a system with 1 striker, we should have 3 decent strikers battling it out for the spot. If we want two up top we should have 2 decent strikers who would be first choice and maybe two strikers with potential. Whilst that's just my opinion, bayo wouldn't be needed any in of those situations.

Best for all parties if he carried on his career elsewhere

He got a double against hearts.

    That's worth a new 5 year, £67k a week deal.

He would still score more goals than Bayo with a Kebab in his hand.
