They probably won't win the Scottish Cup. For what it's worth, I hope they do so it takes the shine aff the huns.

It's up there with Leicester winning the EPL.
The manager and the team did something special but there were other circumstances that allowed it to happen.

One very similar one is we just aren't at the races this year, like a couple of clubs in the EPL when Leicester won.
Just like then other clubs like ourselves were needing a rebuild.

To give the manager of St Johnstone the Celtic job because he had 1 good season when 50% of the teams that normally win the cups and League wasn't even trying is borderline criminal!! :giggle1:

This time last year I was celebrating 9 in a row, anticipating 10. Fast forward a year and I’m debating with some egg why Callum Davidson shouldn’t be the next Celtic manager. * me man.

Getting to the stage I don’t care who we get now the board are just ripping the * right out of it, common decency they should at least provide an update.

At the moment Callum davidson isn't the answer but not saying three or four years time he could be and just look at fergie when he was manager at Saint mirren nobody at the time thought he would do when he went to Aberdeen and Davidson is only two games away from a cup double unheard of for a small club .

Considering it's Callum Davidson's first season in management is what's most staggering about it, Leicester wasn't Ranieri's first season in management. St Johnstone went to Ibrox and conceded once within the 120 mins, we went to Ibrox and shipped 6 in 180 mins over the last couple weeks, despite having a budget that dwarves St Johnstones 1000x over, the guy clearly knows what he's doing, he clearly knows how to set up a team to be hard to beat, the kind of manager we need for Europe, domestic football would take care of itself if we were outperforming in Europe.

Three or four years it could be too late, he might end up at a Leicester, Everton or West Ham within that time depending upon what he does at his next club which I'm sure will be an English Championship team if he delivers the Scottish Cup.

I laughed heartily at this, then I cried a bit because as surreal as it is...it's actually happening!

If the board appointed Callum Davidson in two weeks time you be lucky to get 20000 season ticket holders and maybe protests against the board .

Callum Davidson is a hun? If it wasn't for Callum Davidson the huns would be ready to complete a double, what a * ridiculous thing to say, the guy had Gerrards number in the cup on a nothing budget, we were a * shameful embarrassment against that same team, imagine what Davidson would do to the huns on our budget? Scoring against us under Davidson would be seen as an achievement for the huns nevermind getting a result, Davidson has his number and would have it even more at a bigger club with a bigger budget and a better squad

    Jesus * christ.:56:

So far he’s won a cup by beating Livi in the final. A Livi team who had started their collapse by that point.

Yes beating the huns was a great result. So what? Results like that happen from time to time.

If we fail to get Callum Davidson, I mean he might choose Spurs over us, then we always have Jim Goodwin as second choice.

@RogicHasMagicToes mate you’re a *. I’ve agreed with some things you have said in the past and I didn’t know which of your ridiculous posts to quote to say this. You’re touting a st Johnstone manager to take over our club? Just because he has his side in the top 6 and two finals? St Johnstone, along with the huns, are only in the position they are because our board hired a tactically inept alcoholic as our manager in the showers.

Callum Davidson will not manage Celtic and he certainly won’t manage in the English Premier League.

    Wake up mate.

Not sure why I reply to be honest. It’s becoming clear that @RogicHasMagicToes is clearly at it and trying to troll us.

I hope to * that’s the case anyway.

Davidson has done something that very few managers do in their first year in management and that is to win a trophy. To do it with St Johnstone is an even bigger achievement. He has the potential going forward to be a right good coach. He definitely seems more tactical than the 2 managers we had in this season
