The first condition on signing anyone is that they have at least been registered as a professional player in whatever league they've played in.

With Taylor you often get the feeling he was purchased randomly from an Argos catalogue. No-one actually knows what he does or why he's here, he just is.

Can't run - his lack of pace is a real problem. He looks like he should be fast but isn't.

Can barely pass - unless it's safe backwards passes.

No strength - a problem for anyone playing men's association football.

Can go by a man - what's the point is being a full back?

 

He has no real get out of jail qualities..

His biggest one was possibly picking out a man in the final third but let's be brutally honest, even that is exaggerated to *..

Another thing he does is when trying to control a ball, almost turns his body as if he's gonna do a dummy to control it (if that makes sense). Regularly his first touch is poor and it gets away from him on the inside with how he tries to use his body as he's receiving it..

I've been consistent in how pish I think he is..

 

I get that Laxalt has downgraded massively from game to game but I would still pick him before Taylor. This guy has no pace, no strength, no ball control, no dribbling abilities, * at crossing and imo just as * defending as is Laxalt. Diego at least has a bit of pace, isn't always going backwards and can shoot. I honestly think Taylor is at the same level as Kenny.

* useless and will no doubt be playing next season because there is too many other positions to fill .the * will try and spin this * as transitional period when its good old gross incompetance

 

Nothing against the boy but he's way out his depth at Celtic, he doesn't bring anything to the team, he can't overlap as he doesn't have the pace, he's too small to deal with cross balls and his delivery into the box isn't good enough. I imagine frimpong in training roasted him ever day. This is the standard of footballer that needs addressed as quickly as possible.

Only reason I'd keep him around next season is due to lack of numbers and the coming rebuild (for avoidance of doubt - has back up only). Next summer? Get him to *.

 

His wee face annoys me, always has that half grimace type of "help me" look on his pus. And he's * too. Funny because that's how we must look watching him play

Said it before but the process that allowed Greg Taylor to be identified and signed is clearly grossly unfit for purpose. The basic requirements for a full back at our club he just does not possess and never did at any point. He should have been ruled out on first viewing, to let him get all the way through our process to sign him is criminal. Another example that shows the departments' within our Club are not working coherently or even communicating remotely successfully.

Klimala, Ajeti, Kenny, Duffy, Laxalt, Barkas alone this season. Not insignificant amounts of money have been spent to bring these guys in. Not one has looked at the standard required.

Most don't even have the basic attributes we require for our play style. I.e Duffy can't pass for toffee but our CB's are on the ball more than any player in our team. For Kenny see Taylor. Klimala was clearly not a good footballer never mind good striker, could go on.

Recruitment as much as any, maybe even more than any other department needs a major clear out and overhaul or no matter who we bring in as coach it will continue to hold us back

 

I'm talking about one instance where he went across and shagged him rotten..

 

Tbf it was a good bit of skill, but if some * had done that to you in 5's you'd never hear the end of it. In a Glasgow derby it's very embarrassing.
