Given Howe's relationship with Bournemouth - I doubt he would be approaching players while they are in strong contention for a playoff place.

I'm sure both these players are aware that Eddie would be interested in he takes the Celtic job. However, if Bournemouth were to get back in the EPL and either or both are offered new deals, I can't see them coming to Celtic - even with Eddie Howe.

 

John Kennedy has been helped enough by the club after his career ending injury (which didn't even happen on club duty), when Chris Davies and Brendan Rodgers had their careers ended short due to injury, they had no help, they did it all by themselves to get where they are, Kennedy is now taking liberties, he has no experience to be a sporting director, more jobs for the bhoys carry on, a * embarrassment, please make him part of the culture change the club needs to make by getting him to *

 

Rodgers wanted Kennedy to get the role before he left. The story is probably based on that. I'm not going to start losing my * about it

 

I really don't get the hate for Kennedy anyone that's worked with him has said good things think he speaks well ive no problem with him staying

 

The point I was making is that the story is based on something that was meant to happen 3 years ago. Doesn't mean it will now happen and there's no point cracking up about it just now

 

He's part of this disaster of a season and has contributed more than is fair share since taking over from Lennon we can't go for the best manager available then lumber him with people he doesn't know or want. People have said in interviews he is a good coach yes but look at this current team that surely contradicts what anyone has said

 

He's taking liberties, he's getting employed in jobs he has no experience or right to be in, why should Kennedy get the sporting director role, what credentials does he have for that job?

 

Well for a start Howe loves that 'attack is the best form of defence' phrase, straight away that gets my back up on how much he prioritizes his defence.

From watching videos of his coaching methods, I seen continual mentions of him neglecting his defence

Always find it weird how much you go on about your desire for a defensive manager who is more concerned about clean sheets than scoring goals.

Is there anything he's shown that catapults him above potentially hundreds of actual, experienced DOF's out there?

His conduct from the sidelines has been embarrassing
His lack of oomph has been pathetic
His lack of idea's and change has been eye opening

John Kennedy must be blackmailing Dermot Desmond there’s no other explanation

 

I want to see us do something in Europe, I was 10 when we got to Seville, the only way we progress in Europe, like it or not, is through a solid defensive setup due to the financial climate we're in compared to the top European sides. As Brendan showed, he didn't prioritize the defence at that level which cost us time & again, Brendan went toe to toe in Europe regardless of the opposition which ended in a few skelpings, I fear Howe will make the same mistakes as he apparently studies the way Brendan sets up his teams.

No problem being expansive & exciting domestically due to dominating possession, it's in Europe I'm not feeling the Howe appointment.

 

If this is true this board need to get to * and what good reason would there be to keep Kennedy and making him a sporting director this is * laughable and a man who was a part of the biggest * up of a season .

 

Its all on Desmond this *,he must get driven out this club somehow,he is destoying us.

I dont understand how some had the hatred for Lawell and Lennon and for some unknown reason this Monopoly looking * is getting away scot free here....I only hope if its possible to get into the stadium soon and get the banners up and make noise about getting Desmond to *.


Kennedy is a * along with a majority of this squad,we looked after him for years now and its becoming a * joke, he shoulda been hooked months ago along with Lennon and Lawell.

Its a rebuilding job from scratch,not adding a couple of players to mix with the * we have now.....I'd rather we shopped in Europe tbh,people like Frank De Boer/Marche/Rose that can build a team of youngsters and move onwards from that.

You just * know its going to be Keane after every * gets * off with us and drops out at the last minute.
