I honestly thought that “Son of a gun, gonna have big fun” would have been great for us.

At least he is getting more game time than 3 of the 4 current slackers/strikers at the park.

I just think now we need to wipe the slate and stop all this project garbage and go get someone who is first team ready.

He is scoring goals from starts and the bench, from all of them that I've seen they've generally been pretty decent goals too.

Don't care if they have someone that they signed from MK dons that's playing well as well. We need to have 3/4 strikers at the club.

Eddie will be away, we need to replace him with a top quality signing, ajeti I think should be at a the club and get games, yes he has been a bit * since the injury against hibs but was solid before that with 5 goals in 6 games in about 180min of time. Griff * knows, I don't think we should get rid but he needs to work himself. Klimala can get loaned out I wouldn't care too much if he's sold. Afolabi has not shown enough on loan this season to justify a place, should have Brough him back when we needed one during the dubai fiasco but we Brought robertson instead to warm the bench.

    So I'd be happy with

    New, Ajeti, Griff, Bayo, youth

    I was half joking..

    No, he wasn't..

You only have to look back a page or 2 to see i was saying he should be given a chance during pre season..

Toney was playing for peterbrough in league 1, mk dons are in the same league.

He defo deserves a clean slate, as do most of the boys out on loan.

In the same category as Klimala...Not good enough and never will be. Get them to * and stop all this * about 'potential', 'might come good'...they are simply not good enough. As for Ajeti yes he can finish but the big, lazy, sulky faced lump of * can get the * out of my club too. Griffiths is quality but cant be relied upon to be fit and Eddy will be gone in the summer. What a * state of affairs and that just the striking department.

Ironically we are not too different in the centre half dept.

Our best player in the position has a year left and most likely be gone (Ajer-Eddie)
Players you expect better off, had been playing at far higher level in previous seasons and should be cornerstones of this seasons squad(duffy- Griff)
Young player, prob not good enough to start currently( Paddy- Welsh)
Players bought for big money in a higher grade of league, yet injurys/fitness playing big part (Jullien-Ajetti)
Players so far out of the picture that they are asking to leave are already out on loan (Elhamed- Bayo)
Both had players playing in them positions that are midfielders for quite a number of games that will likely be gone next season (Bitton-Christie)

I know theres some differences before ppl pick holes in it but at the same time its quite similar.

Sad how bad the state of affairs are for two roles down the spine of our team.

Both require 2 x first team players able to walk in and be expected to play straight away.

Depending on how he finishes the season, I'd much be willing to give him a chance at third choice than Klimala or Ajeti.

Would still have Ajeti before him.

He at least has some sort of pedigree despite not really setting off. He's hardly been given a run in the team either.

We also paid a lot more money for him so by nature should give him a bit more time to prove himself.

CELTIC could be set to offload a second flop striker in a week after Tunisian champions Esperance made an approach for forgotten forward Vakoun Bayo.

The Hoops managed to recoup £3.5million when they sold Polish fringe player Patryk Klimala to New York Red Bulls in the MLS after just over a year at the club.

Ivory Coast international Bayo is currently on a season-long loan at French second tier club Toulouse and has netted a respectable six goals in 13 starts for the club.

Toulouse have an option to buy the 24-year-old, but have given no indication they will take up that offer on Bayo, who cost Celtic £2m in 2019 when he signed a four-year deal from the Slovakian side Dunajska Streda.

However, he's is a target for African giants Esperance who have enquired about the availability of Bayo.

Bayo has experience in Tunisia already. He moved from the Ivory Coast to Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel, when he was a youngster and his form there earned him a move to Europe.

Esperance are nine points clear at the top of the Tunisian League and are desperate to win the African Champions League for a fifth time - they last won it two years ago.

And if Celtic could be set to ditch another unwanted player from their squad as they begin to clear the decks for the much-anticipated arrival of their new manager.
