No one here is 'seriously' discussing it. It is a fun rumour or suggestion.

The observation that José Mourinho is unlikely to manage Celtic is hardly revelatory, so I struggle to understand why some people think that they will enlighten fellow supporters by offering that insight.

Why don’t we start a fun rumour about getting Haaland while we’re at it

No, I do not think that we will appoint Mourinho - no one here does - so you can stop your sniggering and sneering.

The fact that you are unable to differentiate between serious discussion and fun speculation speaks to your ignorance, not the delusion of others.

The fact that you need to turn to juvenile speculation to get your kicks speaks to your immaturity, dude. Again, who are you?

    Why not?

It will give you another opportunity to make an * of yourself by condescending to people who already know what you know.

Push the boat out (well a little anyway) and bring in Graham Potter. Surely he would see us as a step up from Brighton. I have been really impressed watching his team play this season. If they had a goal scorer they would have been challenging at the top.

Perhaps there is a reason that no one on here likes you.

Premier League 2 is a competition that replaced the Under-21 Premier League from 2016/17, with a greater focus on technicality, physicality and intensity to bring players as close to first-team experience as possible.

The age limit for players is now Under-23.

Each team can field a goalkeeper over the age limit and up to three "over-age" outfield players in every match.

There is nothing reserve about the league - it is a link between u18 and senior football - part of player development

Reserve leagues used to be riddled with 7,8,9 players who cant get into the first team, the u23 leagues are players typically between 17 - 23 a lot in the last year or two of their contracts looking to impress and obtain their second or third contract at a club and try and cement a place in the first team squad.

Mourinho has always had a war chest of money thrown at him, that is perhaps why he has regressed as a manager from his early days - he has lost his touch.

They all start somewhere - the fact that Brendan Rodgers was head-hunted by Mourinho during his Chelsea days, and that maresca was head hunted to be at city is enough for me to show he would be ideal for what we need at the club - someone to coach, get the team playing football, buy into a system of play and he would be fully aware of players we can easily obtain. I am pretty sure he set a record this season for for goals or points in a season.

In the last number of years it was been useful loans /or young players to invest in and hope to flip on which helped the club deliver - I am not a fan of this but it is the celtic way - roberts, boyata, guidetti, denayer, ntcham, Frimpong

He obv knows harkin as they work together so the bond between manager and DoF is no issue at all, the hold up is that Howe wants his brother in law as DoF and I think the club prefer Harkin with his connections in the game etc...

The club need to make an announcement sooner than later.

For me it is the slavia manager, trpisovsky or maresca - I would like the club to play good football, a manager who is able to get the players to bust their balls for and team that you can see knows their roles and responsibilities. There is always risks in any new manager. if Mourinho came in (which will never happen) the club would just be the Mourinho show.

men on the post from corners
how to defend corners and set pieces
how to open up teams in the final third when it is compact and tight - we struggle with this so much
    working on cross balls
breaking runs through the attacking line

howe was a rookie, I remember when wenger came to arsenal he was being ridiculed for his ideas about the game , Rodgers was the same he was sacked at Watford when it didn't go well - but he stuck to his beliefs and footballing style of play, Mourinho was the same got a lucky break at Benfica. they all start somewhere.

what you can tell is the players and management at the club have lost respect, especially, the players towards the management - confidence is low and they players have no faith in lennon, kennedy and co. Did losing Duffy have a big impact on the players? damo not shane lol

yes his brother in law Richard hughes as Dof, the club want a long term Dof, if Howe leaves after a few years the club want a DoF who will keep the club going together - the worst thing the club done was get rid of all the scouts - mc Guinness, park etc - most clubs went down the road of agent etc and stats men. now they are beginning to go back to scouts etc.

what do you expect when your told to go to south America with 2.5 mill to find players :-0 - cheap board cheap owners have proved costly esp. in the 10 in a year season.
