This would be the worst outcome.

Though I fear you're right, the national associations have no power here and therefore will likely cave in.

The ideal scenario is the Super League being formed, and the participants being thrown out of the EPL, La Liga etc. Let's face it, these clubs are already miles ahead of us so we aren't the ones losing out by them getting richer.

But if they do get thrown out, the EPL is * and so is English football. No-one is paying massive sums to broadcast Burnley v Stoke or West Bromley v West Ham.

We've always wanted the Sky bubble to burst, well here it is. I will take immense pleasure at those * mid-table skidmarks who thought they were big clubs because they shared a league with Man Utd etc., go bust as a result. The trickle down effect will be enormous too. That's the Championship * as well.

Personally I find it more disgusting that * like Bournemouth can spend 30m on one player. Well that won't be happening now :)

We won't be getting outbid by Championship teams nor will we be selling our best players like Van Dijk to dross like Southampton.

We're a self-sufficient club who do not rely on TV income. Therefore we'll be moving back to having more muscle than practically every other team in England - and Europe for that matter - who are not part of the Super League.

I think for clubs like ourselves, Benfica, Ajax etc. we need to be very careful how we play our next move.

There's 12 of these rouge brands wanting to break away.

Let's say these 12 qualified for Champions League, at Group Stage Entry. For one of them to win the tournament, they will play 13 games in total.

These clubs will still want to play in their domestic league.

So how is there Super League going to work?

Is it home and away twice for the Jet Setting, gas guzzling elite giving them 12 games?

I fail to see how something like that could be any more exciting than a knockout tournament... Unless the Super League is in Champions League format as well.

Who qualifies for the Champions League if they also win their domestic league because they now have an extra, £350 million quid from JP Morgan, giving them an even more extended unfair sporting advantage?

The television contracts will be rejigged from domestic football, Champions League to super league as well.

This league can't co exist with the current domestic leagues and European football. If they want to play in it they can't play in their domestic leagues.

They will likely have their own broadcasting rights.

They have said that they will play domestic league but not UEFA competitions. The plan that I have seen rumoured is to get another 8 teams on board, 2 groups of 10 and playing 18 games pretty much every Tuesday / Wednesday then followed by play offs. This is just the star though and I do believe they will expand and have either 2 tiers of 20 or just 2 groups of 20 with play offs.

So they could basically have a team in this new league and one in the domestic set up ?

Sources claiming atm they are against it but I highly doubt it they sat at the table with the backers and EPL clubs last winter when this was being organised , won’t know FIFA’s full stance until the details come out from the meeting

I’ll be happy to see Celtic go ANYWHERE as long as the Huns aren’t tagging along.

Aye.... but it’s a fairly crucial point !

You can absolutely guarantee that Celtic are itching to dine on this table. Once the first 20teams jump ship. Celtic and the Huns will be in amongst the next 20teams to join a European * fest of greed.

By the way, whatever happens to us, there should be no "Old Firm" response.

Our allies here are Ajax etc. not that shower of * Kkk scum across the city.

They are cheats. It might not matter where they finish in their domestic season, i.e. Current Top 4.

They will have a guaranteed place in their Super League. How will teams qualify for it?

This will be even worse than the Champions League. And it will destroy the domestic leagues as well and make them even less competitive.
