Would have liked to see him get a decent run but guess if he had anything about him, he would have shined in training and got a run.
    Best to punt.
We have major striking issues, with Eddy away soon, Griff being Griff and Ajetie not setting header on fire.

I'm fine with him going. Had heart but we need someone who will score a barrel load. That money can be reinvested now.

Europe will be a write off then.

I don't see how we will have the time to bed in a DoF, Manager, a brand new defence, replace Elyounoussi, back up for Forrest, lose Ajer, Eddie and now Klimala with Bayo probably staying in france as well, leaving two unfit strikers as our choices and no defence.

    Farcical.

Don't worry, we can always play Christie as a striker......

I wonder how he would have done with the invincible team and under Rodgers. I think he will come good, but I don't think the MLS is a way to breakthrough either, never the less, incredible city!

Good luck to him, never ever had a fair crack of the whip or a run of games in the side.
Hope he does well over there.

Cant believe people are clamouring for him, no amount of coaching would turn him into a decent striker.

I don't think that's true, I just don't think he was a fit for our team. Good luck to the guy. I usually would say keep and try under a new manager but if we can get our money back, why not.

I just hope that we don't now renew Griffiths' contract because we now find ourselves short up front.

Offload both, bring in (and save) a good amount of money, and reinvest it in some high-quality replacements.

He was never going to be good enough, was a willing runner but had no 1st touch or anywhere near physical enough to bully defenders. If we get our doe back I'll be surprised.

Pistol Pete man, I can just see him on a zoom call telling Red Bull a pack of lies about Klimala. Fair play to him, but €4m + add ons is absolute daylight robbery for this dud.
