Semi finals will be 2 songs, and they must be 4 decades apart, yep, Longevity is the name of the game.

The final will be 3 songs, only one of which can have been used in a previous round.

In Tennis Terms Depeche Mode beat the man that Bubbles The Chimp fell out with 6-16-16-1

 

Sorry, can only speak for myself obviouslty, but it's not like they don't have songs with names in them, such as Ronnie, Dyer's Eve, Call of Ktulu etc, and in a group where thing slike that wre tight had to be reason to vote for or against somethign.IMO wasn't really in the spirit of the round. :/

Same for the Stones' song choice. Angie is a cool song, but IMO Jumping Jack Flash would've 100% won that group hands down and Ruby Tuesday could've gotten over the line. All in the song choice in those tight groups.

 

I was saving Jumping Jack Flash in case I got through to the next round sadly not to be I grew up hearing the stones my dad's favourite band

 

It's all great fun Taz, however why would it be ok to have Call of Ktulu which is named after a * like alien but not Sandman who is a Northern European character who in folklore sprinkles sleep dust in folks eye

Least I got more points than Cliff Richard

 

This is my very good friends favourite stones song so was hoping to get the chance to get it in
