That's why we should be looking at the Eastern European/Scandinavian market. * knows why, but we seem to have a knack of signing guys that seem incapable of the most basic parts of football then you see all these guys in Europe that can take a first touch, pass the ball and move into space to receive it. How can a guy that has played football his whole life struggle to control a ball and keep it under control so often.

 

Thought it was a mixed bag from Christie, quite similar to David Turnbull. All their best work was without the ball. And when they were involved in the attacking play, it just wasn't quite good enough. Both guys were in the 90% accuracy bracket, but to the best of my recollection anyway, very few were telling.

 

Yeah I agree with this a prime example at right back was the guy Bah who played with Slavia, was signed in January for £1.5mish from a Danish team after being recently capped by Denmark. A 6 ft athlete capable at both ends of the park and well within our reach but we loan Jonjo Kenny.

I thought had a reasonable game - certainly not a bad one. A hat-trick would not have spared him from the same comments imho, he has become the prime scapegoat

He hid and offered as little as he could for Kenny going forward, he almost always stepped inside and when he did go right it was too late.

On the few occasions he positively got involved he did contribute, however his performances are that of a guy who quite clearly doesn’t want to be there and would much prefer busting a gut for the football association that continues to cheat Celtic supporters, the folks that pay his wages.

 

He had one beautiful pass through their defence, then annoyed me for 89 minutes
