Sure we are never able to financially go for players and managers that Barcelona, Madrid, psg etc go for, but we should be having ones that they eventually eye up to manage them in due course.

This season has been a disaster. Absolutely atrocious on and off the park. Lennon is gone, Lawell is going. Yet things haven't improved 1 single bit. It's the same old repetitive, amateurish decisions and set up applied by Kennedy. We're bumbling along with zero direction or aim. It's gutting. Off the park is just as bad.

But this is seriously impacting next season already. There's zero output of communication from the board, there's no management team in place. No structure set up off the field. Euro qualifying is about 90 days away. Its daunting that there could be another season of similar amateurish performances on and off during the season.

The board need to liaise with fans, laying out a timeline of when things will be done. They need to appease, then win back the fans that they disengaged from quickly. As when lockdown is over, and there's no official announcement of any sorts, then by * they will need more than * fencing to save themselves from the justified protests that's gonna be aimed at them.

The fightback needs to begin now. Not after the Euros.

 

Out of the names who have been mentioned I would like it to be either Rafa, Martinez or Howe in that order granted it's probably a bit pie in the sky but now isn't the time to go for another project

 

Maresca is high risk, high reward.

I would prefer someone with a proven track record, but if it is a choice between Maresca and the usual suspects, I would take a punt on Maresca every day of the week.

I cannot watch another season of the Lennon school of management.

 

I wonder if we could take advantage of the pandemic, and attract a manager who would normally be out of our reach (Allegri, Benítez, Favre, Jardim, Sarri).

They are sat in the house doing nothing, and there is every chance that their arses are making buttons.

I am sure that I read recently that a smaller club had approached Allegri.
