Don’t know why his Daughter being here is being touted as a positive. Look who our neighbours are? Would it impact her life positively or negatively having her Da the manager of Celtic?

We’ve had her from Corrie with Sinclair. Hedmans missus was lovely. Lustigs better half is beautiful.

I’m sure females will be fine if they move to Glasgow

Jesse Marsch would be ideal, anyone else now would be a disappointment. Regardless of who we bring in as DoF from Harkin or Tognozzi to Webb, I think they could work with a coach like Marsch.

For example Harkin coming in with a team from Man City with his knowledge of the market and in terms of analytics etc combined with a coach like Marsch and his knowledge of the RB model would massively improve where we are in terms of ideas and knowing what needs to be done to perform at the level the club are capable off.

As much as the Marsch link is a very welcome and exciting prospect, being honest if he has an offer from a top Bundesliga team we have absolutely no hope of bringing him here.

We have no hope of bringing him here in any case.

People are torturing themselves thinking there is.

If Keane or Kennedy are announced I don’t want to hear how the Celtic job is a massive one etc again by pundits, media...

There's always the (extremely) slim chance that we have plans to completely overhaul the current structure and get a DoF, coaching team and thrust ourselves into the 21st century with intent - this could attract him considering his minor links to us/Scotland.

Probably be Keane or Kennedy though.

While his star is shining relatively brightly, he's not going to take what would be seen be a lot as a sideways step even if we're making those changes.

If the structure was up and fully operational then there would possibly be a slim chance but he'd be risking it all for little in terms of reputational gain.

I think it's more likely that we go for a 'safe' pair of hands for a season or 2, until the infrastructure of the club can be beefed up. At that point - provided we had won back our title - I think an outfield suggestion like Maresca would be more understandable.

Aye unfortunately I don't think we stand a chance of getting Marsch, even if we were at our best it'd be a struggle to convince him to come here.

I do hope we at least ask the question and try for him, because it would be a signal of intent, but I'd still be happy enough with either Maresca or Howe, just avoid Keane, Kennedy, Ross like the plague please.

We need to start being far more ambitious with our appointments.

Part of the problem is Lawwell has spent 20 years convincing us we can’t get a high profile manager when the real reason has always been he didn’t want one.

We got Brendan Rodgers, we can get a good manager again.

Obviously if this guy has offers from the Bundesliga then it’s a longer shot, but thankfully he’s not the only manager in the world.

We talk ourselves down far too much. This is a fantastic place to manage for a few years if we can create the right environment from board level to pitch. It’s been toxic for years due to Lawwell and his backwards, small time, cronyism attitude.

If it’s Keane or Kennedy we might as well pack it in. Even if we win the league next year with one of them it’s complete short-termism which has seen us win domestically and shrink dramatically on the European level.

I honestly can't see us making a coaching appointment for a while yet..

DoF and CEO will both likely be in first and rightly so..

I'd push the boat out for Leonardo Jardim. Guy has been a success everywhere he's been and out the game 15 months now.

If that's not realistic and we can't get another top tier guy like Benitez or Martinez, I'd be looking at Howe and then Clarke.

I know Clarke isn't a sexy name and there'd be a few groans but he's a pragmatist that delivers results. I'd accept him for a year or 2, if it meant we took a bigger risk further down the line.

    Who's your pick?
