I just want someone who is tactically astute, someone who knows what they are doing. Someone who can get the fans excited and the team playing.

Eddie Howe is the obvious choice to me. But I fear we will end up with Keane or Kennedy.

Not that I believe him in anyway but it's a rumour so worth mentioning. Phil Mac says that DD is very Keen on Keane, possibly with Duff as assistant. Also that Maresca has been interviewed and well as Lampard who interviewed really well. Moyes agent reached out as well.

Just a rumour. May have some relevance with Keanes odds tumbling. How uninspiring is that list ffs. Haven't captured the thoughts or mood of the fans at all. Maresca would he OK with the right support but the rest is *. Hopefully all nonsense.

Desmond, McGobbledeygook and Roy Keane can all get themselves to *!

Keane couldn’t even lace Lennon’s managerial boots, and that ain’t no compliment sir...

Why would Moyes agent contact us? He’s flying with West Ham just now chasing a European spot.

All daft rumours, bet we’ve no interviewed anycunt.

That guy is so full of * - I used to look at his site for a laugh but I haven't even bothered with that for a long time now.

Why the * would Moyes agent reach out? West Ham are currently 5th in the EPL and, if they win their game in hand, they'll be 4th.

I wouldn't put it past Desmond to consider Keane but I don't believe a word of PMG's bullshit.

Plus part of the reason Duff moved back to Ireland is because one of kids has a heart condition that gets treatment in Dublin. So I think Phils talking pish

Aye only way Moyes is reaching out is because in some bizzaro world, he's shat everywhere innthe board room, shagged all the directors wife's and husbands and physically assaulted the squad so he knows he's getting sacked.

Otherwise, we've as much chance of hiring Moyes as we do Pep and Klopp

Certainly don’t think it’s any less likely than these Martínez or Benitez pipe dreams. Certainly possible.

Howe would still be my first choice. Wouldn't be upset with Maresca but it's obviously a risky appointment. Maresca would have been fine when rangers liquidated, or into a winning team just after BR. But right now it is a big job for someone with no first team experience in management.

The strikers he signed would be a concern

Had a good and extremely unexpected roll until the pandemic last year, they’ve been stinking since. Not a great manager despite what some English fans would have you believe.

Edit: Dyche would be a much better option, consistency over a sustained period of time as well as not being as tactically archaic as many seem to believe.
