There's a world of difference between U21 internationals and full internationals, especially with the stronger nations.

He’s the kinda guy that will end up being a jobber-type player in England.

Would be an interesting sell, I reckon if he wants to go for the interest from prem he is better not accepting the oostende deal and coming back for us to sell him, I'd also prefer that as we would get more than the 2 mill oostende are due (don't think we will get 10 at all of course, but if he goes for 3/4 crack on good business)

I'm not against him getting a crack either but he is in the final year of contract so would need to renew first if that was the case.

He looked good in a wee Scottish team and that’s why Rodgers signed him.

Comes to a big club and there is expectation to play well week in and week out and he crumbles.

Given how short we are at the back, even more so when Ajer eventually leaves, I can see us keeping him.

I'm prepared to give him a chance but only as a third choice CB squad player who only occasionally fills in when our first choice CBs are out.

 

I'm sure Oostende will activate their option to purchase regardless as it's only good business on their behalf. They can entertain offers or just keep and play him.
Apparently he is a stay at home type of D man & quite good in the air.
Some players take a while to mature or need the right environment. It will be interesting to see if there is any truth to this story or if it just cheap journalism.
