Scott Bain

Twice he nearly lost the ball at his feet yesterday. He’s unbelievably slow at distributing the ball. When he eventually does it a pass out to a defender who is being closed down. We don’t have the players atm for this passing is out from the back.

 

He's chronic..

He's slowest with the ball in hand. He always slows it down and tells the defence to calm down or that..

* release it ya diddy *. I can't think of a keeper as slow as him at throwing the ball out when he has it in hand..

 

Need to credit the lad for that superb save yesterday, since we're quick to jump on him for any mistakes.

 

Good save but it was right at him at head height..

He was nowhere for the header just before..

It was a decent save but it was a good height for him and straight down his throat. If it had went in it would have been a bit of a howler.

He’s a bomb scare. Heart in mouth stuff when he has the ball at his feet these days.

Won’t be in goal next season so that’s something I suppose.

 

There is no reason for him to be first choice right now, give Barkas the remaining seven games to see if he can maybe turn his form around, we all know Bain won't be first choice next year.

 

Celtic and logic don’t go together this year

 

Should be back up keeper at best but just shows how far standards have slipped this season .

 

Gordon used to * me off with this as well.

 

He not even good enough for back up keeper and a number three keeper at best and just look at our number one and two last season foster and Gordon and we can see why we didn't win the league this season .

 

Was a save I would expect any keeper to make, was straight at him, it did have pace but he made it look dramatic. If it had went in, he would rightly have been crucified.

 

I reckon Barkas would have fluffed it

 

You reckon. Barkas saved everything straight at him. He just doesn't do dramatic... in any situation.

 

At this point it's fair to say Barkas is finished

We've been tragic this year and I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, but watching him doesn't fill me with ANY confidence.

Bain in the other hand has issues, never a first choice, but more than enough as a stand in.

We've been atrocious recruitment wise this season, not finance wise, just woeful scouting.

I don't think Barkas would have been brave enough to save with his face. Slipped straight though Bains hands, what a joke

Through his hands!!! That's what made me laugh most. His hands were nowhere near where the ball was going.

Just "blind" luck it hit his face.
