Yes, frimpong was good going forward, and then this season it disappeared, that's down to beinh coached to not do that or completely useless lack of coaching instead of encouraging and working it in to improve things. Same with most of our players.

Look at Kenny from his first game to last night.

In his first game he played about 15 crosses, was getting to the byline and trying to go at tye defender in the box.

Last night, pretty much go to the edge of 18 and pass back.

It's not just the fullbacks though, how often did one of our 3 number 10s go at a man last night, how many times did Eddie. The few times we did have a run at it we got chances, christies out the park special, the one he put across the box for Eddie.

You are correct in that we need to play players that fit a system or a system that fits the players and absolutely we do neither.

We play with players that are not in the correct role with key roles missing and a "system" that no one knows what it's meant to be.

 

See now why he is 3rd choice at Everton.

If we do sign him then him playing will make sense. If not then it is a waste and what was the point should have just stuck with Ralston. He's nowhere near a £10 million player. Not even sure if he is worth £1 million.

 

You make a good point. At 10M, defiantly out of our reach. So sticking with Ralston would have made sense. But at the end of the day, while Ralston is not the answer, Kenny is a baffling signing, we should have went for a right back that is within our budget, even if initially for a loan period.

 

How is he getting game time above Ralston (who I don't even rate)
