Correct. Lennon’s arrogance and contempt for the support has tarnished his legacy, arguably more than his incompetence as a manager.

No one knows that. We want assume he would though...But if he didnt walk, he we would assume again he gets the same hatred as Lennon has been subjected to....and that would hurt like *.

I pray to * that Henke never comes near our club again in this type of capacity.....Be unbearable to watch that go on if it didnt go right.

Lennons legacy will be subjective from person to person here.

I wanted him gone months ago,he royally * it up,the board should have made the call but left him there.

He then shoulda walked on his own accord, and didnt......this i am raging like a lot of you are.

He's gone now....but regardless of this season *....Hes still a club legend imo to me by bringing so much silverware to the club, along with Broony.

Some fans in here and other social media sites have went way over the top, some even wishing they him injured/harmed...Thats a * disgrace and should not be the Celtic Way.

Whatever has happened this season has been an eyeopener for sure with our club and its fans.

We started 8 months ago with it to be a season to remember and now its one to forget. Shame.

That sleekit * Gerrard’s comments are low. He’d do well to remember he came close to the boot last season. Snake of a hun *.

Larsson would never get the abuse lennon gets because he has 10 times more respect for the supporters than lennon has ever had, he wouldn't start an interview * himself laughing at us just being beat by Ross County while saying things aren't a disaster for one thing.

Larssons also a team player wouldn't be banging on about "his treble" as if he won it all by himself and throwing players under the bus every 5 minutes.

You never saw Mowbray or deila get the reaction from the support lennon has and its because they didn't act like complete arseholes. That said he shouldn't be near the job because he's not good enough to be Celtic manager.

I agree point I was trying to make that it's been common knowledge he's lennons pal for a while so people signing up to the Trust and giving them money with him in charge shouldn't be surprised by his comments today.

They either don't join and find another group or they join and along with other supporters try and have someone else appointed they feel is more in touch with the mood of the majority of supporters.

    I don't want him harmed.

But look at what Rodgers had to put up with, which is all brushed off as a big laugh. The abuse directed at him was much more vicious. Singing about wanting the IRA to kill him and having his house broken into while his wife and daughter were inside and terrified. That was scummy behaviour. Hun-like actually.

A number of Celtic greats have managed the club, and none, to my knowledge, damaged their legacies to the extent that Lennon has.

Burns is universally adored by the Celtic support, and Dalglish is still hero-worshipped by the generation that watched him play, despite their unsuccessful tenures as manager. McGrory won one league title in two decades, yet he is remembered as one of the greatest Celts of all time, if not the greatest.

If Lennon had had the humility to recognise his failings, and put the club and the support before himself, in this season of all seasons, supporters would still hold him in high esteem, despite his managerial shortcomings. Lennon sullied his reputation with his behaviour, not his inadequacies as a manager.

When Rodgers left i took nothing to do with him as a so called "Celtic man",thought he was a disgrace to bail at that moment when it wasnt needed.
Im unaware of the abuse he got, that you state, and if true that sickening as well.

Shouting/Screaming,calling * ginger fannies et all is fair enough especially in rage mode.....to wish hurt on people and their families is, as you say Hun Like behaviour and want * all to do with that.

    Drew 8*
    Lost 9

    Win Percentage 43%

You can cherry pick stats all you like. He was a failure.

What he and the Hun media conviently forget Slippy was himself contemplating his future and walking away when the Huns were beaten by Hearts. Only this pandemic saved him.

I often think you can judge a manager by the comparison on how the club was when they took over compared to how they left. Unfortunately Lennon has taken us from a position of real strength to a position of chaos. The summer is going to need a massive rebuild. The biggest ironically since Lennon took over in 2010. I have and won't engage in personal abuse towards Lennon but thankfully he has left now- so let's hope the season can see us win the Scottish Cup and have a new man ready to go in the Summer.

Just shows how * he was back then too :celtman2:

Tells you how * we won the league titles in 2 seasons without a real opposition. If the team perfomed as good as some want us to believe, he had to have a much better win percentage. Or how can he with the same win percentage now be 20 points behind the huns?
