Unfortunately for us he is still in the job and has his head buried in the sand it has been plain for all to see since the Ferencvaros game that he wasn't going to get the best out of the team

 

Every one of them

 

Apart from Derek Mcinnes, he’s just as much of a diddy as Lennon which is probably why they get on.

 

It's no surprise he's not been fired, the board for whatever reason don't want to do it. However it is surprising that he hasn't actually woken the * up yet, realised he's doing more damage to the club than any other Celtic manager in history and resigned with the tiny piece of self respect he has left intact.

 

Wouldn’t say John Hughes is a diddy acheived Scottish cup with Inverness I’d say the embarrassing thing of it all is Hughes said four hours before ko what he planned on doing a pre match interview what their game plan was and Lennon still played into his hands because in his second stint his ego and stubbornness have got the better of him

I hope you are right about not going for the cheap option, maybe I am just being
cynical Or the fact being let down in the past with the board.

Thing is with the zombies form they are unbeaten this season (league) and done well in Europe they have came on leaps and bounds with time and will only get stronger.

If they make the groups next season within the champions league they will have more money again while we far further behind.

I just hope we get the right man in for the job but I just won’t hold my breath.

So yogi was pretty much putting his tactics public and Celtic were moaning about team sheet leaks.

 

As I said he allegedly was the one behind bringing Rodgers in, it's no more than a rumour which some like Phil Mac Giolla Bhain have been touting around as fact.

So allegedly bringing in 2 managers in 20 plus years is a decent contribution?

Lennon or his coaches will probably see this and not have realised it happened or what the effects were.

He is the largest shareholder, by some way. And two or three of the other significant shareholders below him are there due to him.

The outcome of AGM motions indicate that he and his pals have a controlling stake in the company.

 

Either that or the other significant shareholders don't bother to question his decisions.

Just the thing that Fergus McCann was trying to avoid when he was selling his shares, no one person or group should have a controlling interest.

 

A know it would probably be different but on our Current form if we had gone into Huns game at ibrox on new year 15 points clear, Huns would be level on points with us by now

 

The right manager can indeed flip a squad, but this isn't like Rodgers taking over from Ronnie. Rodgers came in and improved the players that were there, no doubt, and brought in Sinclair. But mainly there wasn't much disruption to the playing squad he took over.

A new manager here is going to have to improve the players that are left, while also having to recruit and bed in pretty much half a new stating 11 due to the players that will be leaving, and do all that over the space of a single transfer window. That is a huge difference in the situations.

 

Martin O’Neill came into a depleted squad after Barnes had made an * of it bought guys like valgeren, Sutton, hartson, dare a say it Lennon, had a few good players aswell that stayed and 9 months later we had won a treble
Good scouting and a good manager can turn things around very quickly
