Waste a time. Passing and crossing are woeful.

Not seeing what he brings other than another wage.

Tons of space, looks fast but didn't do anything with it.

Well I'm not alone in thinking it.

    His passing is awful.

Crossing has been absolutely dreadful for a Premier League experienced right-back. He hasn't been awful and constantly joins the attack which is great to see. But how often was he fed down the right, totally unopposed, and just hammered it off the first or second defender? Needs to be more incisive than that. Lennon tried to big up his performance in his Celtic TV interview like you would expect. But didn't impress for me today. Early days of course!

Didn't see him mid-week but based on today's game he's no improvement on Ralston.

Quick and initially thought he had a few good passes to feet but given the amount of space he had he did virtually nothing. Motherwell seemed happy enough to let him have the ball as all he did was run to the last man and then pass it back. The few attempts at crosses he did make were honking.

Drifted right out of the match at the end.

Personally felt his performance on Tuesday was overhyped a touch. Again his crossing wasn't great in that one either.

He has been signed for cover, not a world beater and wasn’t good enough for Everton or in Germany.

Down grade from JF but is a stop gap till the summer

I'm not actually sure that's true. He did my * in today with the space he had and how little he made of it. Another supposed RB that doesn't go to the byline and can't cross is disappointing.

He might get better but by then he'll be gone.

Blokes literally here to be a stop gap while we/our new manager hopefully plan on bringing in 2 quality right backs in the summer, hope he does well and gets something out of it but not expecting bloke to pull any walls down he's Everton 3rd choice right back.

No not likely I would agree. Which is why I wondered did we have an agreed option to buy in the summer as that would mean a fee was already there and there would be no competition with other clubs if we and the player wanted to agree. But likely he will just be here till the end of the season so.
Regardless of it being Kenny or not we for sure will need to sign a first choice right back in the summer no question about that.

Offers so little in attack, just looks bang average to me.

He’s an actual defender, passes forwards, covers at the back and he moves into space, no just making the same run and if it’s not on standing still.

    I like him.

Maybe a bit over the top comparison but yet again having a below average loan player that we are never going to sign in the second half of the season is pointless.

If we do bring someone in on loan it would be nice if they could actually get a RB. If they can't/don't cross and don't even attempt to hit the byline then not sure what the point is.

I like his passing, he’s not aimless with it and finds the guys in space. It was his pass to Rogic tonight.

We’ve not had enough people makong the forward pass to the guys moving into space this season. Or making runs dragging defenders away, like the start of Eddy’s goal against Motherwell on the weekend.

or caring enough to cover other players like his last ditch tackle tonight.

He’s not as skilled or flashy as Frimpong, but he’s a better right back.

Not good enough for Germany but played the 34 games for Schalke and they wanted him permanently.

He just seems a waste of a signing. Surely if we bring in someone on loan, it is with a view to see how he slots in with the option to buy.
Saying that, we did need to bring in someone with Jerry and ElHam away. Just think we should have recruited better.
