Only just noticed he's gone. Not going to miss him, far too injury prone and cost us against Ferencvaros. Good luck all the same.

 

What a real shame. I think the pandemic had a huge impact on this one. Moving to a new country without your family, very far from home with no option of getting out the house. Was always going to take its toll. If he signed at a different time he would have really kicked on with us. Still not to be.

Hartem had 5 months with us before the pandemic hit (maybe). He looked a real signing before his injury. Realm shame

He got off very lightly for that I reckon, should have gone right through it. Seemed slow as * to react. If that was a few of our other players folk would have been desperate to get the boot in.

That said, wish him the best.

 

You cannae begrudge him of his move after you see him meeting up with his family at the airports.

We need to find a long term replacement in the summer. Just like every other position.

 

Flattered to deceive when he first arrived. Not a good player.

 

Needs us leaving 2 right backs in the summer. As well as a CB (Julien + new guy, Welsh as backup) and a left back (Taylor as backup). First choice goalkeeper too.

He looked quality when he arrived imo. After the first injury he was pish.

 

It's insane that we have 1 right back at the moment and he is a loan. Defensive recruitment over the last 5 years has been tragic.

 

Never got going here and that’s symptomatic of his full career to be honest.

He put in some solid defensive performances during his first season: Ibrox, Lazio home and away. I remember the disappointment around his signing because we were expecting a bigger signing after Lustig’s departure but he looked great in his debut against St Johnstone - I’m sure he got a couple of assists that day.

But this season he looked soft and drained of confidence. I’m glad he’s away because we can’t be carrying any passengers going forward. The bigger the rebuild, the better in my eyes. We need to completely revamp and reshape the club and playing squad.

Fair play to him, never settled, back home, reunited with his family. Very nice.

But, from a footballing perspective - that's another waste of space out of the club.

 

Good shout, we could also have issued him with a laptop and unlimited data allowance for zoom calls to his family.
