Forced myself to watch his latest PC given it's only 10 mins & there he goes again blaming no fans in the stadium for so many poor home results, what about the shocking home defeats to Cluj, Sevco & Copenhagen last season in front of 60K? Talking absolute *, if anything it should have taken the pressure off the 10 a bit more, imagine the tension from the crowd in any league games at 0-0 around 70 mins, that's gone without fans in the stadium, works both ways.

You've * our biggest season in decades Neil due to your incompetence in how to manage a team without a world class shot stopper to bail you out every week for your horrendous attempt at football management, that's the crux of it. Legacy gone.

For Lennon, this season is a complete shock. He can't understand it. Saw no indicators last year that this could possibly come to pass. He thought we were brilliant last season and have been run brilliantly for the past 20 years. For me and loads of other Celtic fans there were indicators all over the place. He's simply not wise enough or diligent enough to keep a football club in a dominant position. The opposition will always have a chance.

And I'm sick and tired of these "journalists" treating this * like their favourite uncle. There are big questions to answer. Do your * job.

There were plenty indicators last season, Cluj at home in the CL Qualifier without a world class shot stopper in Forster leading to 4 goals conceded, Cup Final would have been one of the most embarrassing days in our history without Forster, Copenhagen away is another defeat without Forster due to the penalty save & then there was the home defeats to Sevco & Copenhagen, warning signs that many who weren't blind knew would be exposed without a world class shot stopper in Forster.

There are a few mitigating factors for Lenny.

not being allowed his own backroom staff

Having the life and soul of the party Kennedy
and Stig of the Dump’s wee brother foisted upon him

    Having signings foisted upon him

    General * recruitment.

    Poor refereeing decisions

Vindictive government preventing Celtic playing two games at the start of the season which has yet to be explained by any form of rules other than “just because” by Sturgeon and that useless * Swinney that got him right off the hook for the exams fiasco

The case against Lenny though is overwhelming

Tennents bar Sunday pub style coaching

    Players lacking fitness

    tactical awareness

not analysing games past or opponents.

giving the players two days off after one * game that lead to Bolingoli and the inexplicable intervention by the * at Holyrood that had us playing catch up from the get go. On that alone he should have been sacked.

    the European qualification fiasco

    the European campaign disgrace

    the playing with no strikers

    the inexplicable formations

    the inexplicable substitutions

the constant changing of the defence

the shambolic defence that seems to take to the field with no instructions

no man on back post at set pieces

    Constant changing of goalies

playing players who want to leave and have been agitating and undermining him

    Abdicating all responsibility

stubbornly refusing to play Turnbull in particular

he said Dubai was his decision, so he can take the full blame for that * too.

I’m gonna mention the fitness again because that is a * disgrace and falls on him.

etc etc it just goes on and on

    Just go Lenny..........

Haven't listened to any of his recent pish. The statement from the GB says basically exactly what I've been thinking for months, just * bolt already, you've absolutely ruined it. Can't wait for the day he leaves, the only bit of positive thinking I can muster.

See this he got the coaching staff forced him. Would you have trusted him to pick his own staff? Who would he have brought in ? That jakey looking * Parker? Duff by all accounts was an excellent coach and I think he's been sorely missed this season

“by all accounts” Parker was the man the players took to in his first stint.
Duff allegedly had the same effect but he didn’t pick Kennedy or Laptop

I read one of his sons has a heart condition that requires specialist medical treatment in Dublin.

Got tbh definitely thought he was a good player, as you say very good at reading a game, did the ugly side of the game well, was also a very good captain and was the final piece of the jigsaw for Martin O’Neill s successful team and he went unappreciated in his defensive midfield role

a just don’t get the when people say he’s lost his legendary status now, as a said very good player, good signing but nowhere near a Celtic legend in my opinion

Legend s to me are guys like obviously Stein as manager, mcgrory,McNeil, Johnstone, gemmell, Lennox, mcgrain, Roy Aitken, henrik, lubo, a personally don’t think he’s anywhere near a Celtic legend

This here is a total non-point, imo.

Lennon had the choice to agree to Kennedy as his assistant, or he didn't.

He chose to take the job and have Kennedy beside him, stating at the time he was delighted and that Kennedy would help with the transition. As far as it goes, he (not so much in the traditional way of bringing his assistant in with him, but) agreed to the backroom staff.

As far as Strachan goes, he was brought in under Lennon's (current) tenure, therefore unless anything is said otherwise he was brought in by, or with Lennon's approval.

As far whatever other backroom staff that have been brought in to replace those who left under Rodgers, I cannot tell you if Lennon brought them in because quite frankly I couldn't even tell you who those replacements are.

Lennon would have taken the job with Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck as his backroom team. He was the luckiest man alive to be offered the job. No other manager in history will get sacked by an SPL team and then get the Celtic job. Lennon knew what he was getting into in terms of the board as well, it was the same board that forced his hand into leaving to go to Bolton.

Read the post. I didn't say it was 'easy', what I said was it was the 'easiest outfield position', which it is, by a distance.
