Surely our self proclaimed world class manager has a training regime in place of the latest sport science standards...

His fitness levels have been more to do with niggly muscle injuries. That came across quite clear in his interview. It can take months for slight hammy & calf niggles to go away completely. Only then can a player start to get towards top speed. No doubt about there is a good player in there for the future if he can stay clear of the slight muscle problems. James Forrest & Michael Owen had similar issues in the past before they eventually turned the corner

Injuries are of course a reason for fitness levels dropping. Look at Rogic though, he has been fit for ages now and still looks like an old man. A complete shadow of the player he was under Rodgers, like pretty much all the team to be honest.

I think he'd be a decent option as a lone striker with three attacking midfielders behind him. Say Forrest, Turnbull and a new LW that likes to attack. That means plenty of support, which strikers like Ajeti need.

Another option would be to stick with the current formation and go with something like:

    Soro
    Turbull McGregor
    Forrest
Ajeti Ely (new striker next season)

With Forrest roaming and a new striker who likes to drop off and run the channels.

Ajerti gives us another option, helping us to use different shapes depending on who we're playing - something we've been severely lacking in recent times.

The GK 100% made contact with his ankle in which his ankle then buckled, that was obvious from the slow-mo on Sportscene. * shocking citing him for simulation when the GK connected with his ankle

Slow the clip down to 0.25 speed, go to 1.50 of the video, then watch how the GKs right hand connects with Ajeti's left ankle causing it to buckle, this is a disgrace calling it simulation, should be 100% contested

He absolutely did dive but there is contact on his ankle with the keeper’s hand and it’s an absolute disgrace he’s being charged with simulation.

That what the scum are good at tbf. Slippy asks for consistency and their admin on twitter posts it on the night of our game so it’s pressures the authorities to take some action because if Stevie G says something everyone must listen.

Where as we are * bags and just let the cheating go on all season and not say a word.

It was a really really soft penalty but there is definite contact on his heel.

It's so blatant now the last time Gerrard had a go at refs they got a penalty in the next how many games ? Now the week after Morelos get cited again this happens. Some laugh

The thing I loved most about Lennon in his first stint as manager, was the fact he didn't give one single * how he came across, he called out the huns and their friends at hampden. Be interesting to see if he's regained a set of balls to cann out this latest load of absokute *. Scummy hun rat masonic *.

He could teach Tom Daily a thing or two about diving, there may have been contact but his reputation of going down easily may have caught up with him ?
