Think Lennon's done enough to be given another chance next season. Hopefully we'll hold on to guys like Taylor, Ntcham etc and maybe even get Brown back for one more shot.

Unbelievable that he’s still here. There is no excuse or reason for him to still be Celtic manager this morning.

The Club are taking full advantage of the pandemic situation and lockdown restrictions. The protests would be HUGE if this was happening in normal circumstances.

I know Lennon is due a pay off and Lawwell/Desmond could have sanctioned that months ago. But Lennon - a man who claims to love and support the club as much as genuine, lifelong supporters - has had multiple opportunities to do the right thing and leave with some dignity. He’s wrecked his chances of that. I for one won’t welcome him back at Parkhead after this - not a chance in *.

 

Makes it worse that it wasn't done over the weekend.

I ken some folk believe we do need to wait, suppose not for that.

Exactly. Which instance are you talking about? Ross County? St Johnston? Prague? Livingston? St Mirren?

It won’t at all fill me with any embarrassment to hear thousands boo him if he returns as a guest of “honour” in a few years time. Hopefully, by that point he realises the * embarrassment he has caused us. Shameless, shameless individual.

 

This is like living in some crazy alternate dimension where you are rewarded for being so *.

 

If he's not sacked before our next game, he's here until the end of the season.

My fear is that he's kept on longer than that.

One thing is for sure, he isn't quitting. It's gone beyond him now, has been for a while. If he's not quitting it's up to those above him to show in the door. They haven't so it is entirely their fault now.

Both he and the board need to follow Lawwell this summer.

Absolutely. He would’ve been away months ago if it wasn’t for the pandemic and these unprecedented times we have been living in for almost a year now. Not only has the pandemic worked in Lennon’s favour in terms of keeping him in the Celtic job this season, but it now looks as though it’s being used as an excuse to keep him here for next season, too. All notions that his position is untenable have been been met with the counterargument ‘Covid-19 was to blame’.

 

You think theres any truth to the rumour hes on a bonus(2 mill)if we get the ten and seen its still mathematically possible he wont be sacked because he would then have to be paid the bonus as the board broke the contract.

Guess we will find out when it becomes impossible to get the ten,either way ill be surprised if he is sacked before that given he is still here after the disastrous run we have been on.
