Even shved I distinctly remember Rodgers saying he doesn’t know why we’ve got him as we’ve got enough wingers. What sort of situation is that to be in, where 55k a week Brendan Rodgers is getting lumbered with players he doesn’t want?

What has our club become? A board that won’t sack a manger because they don’t want to pay him the rest of his contract. A manger who won’t quit (although a Celtic man apparently). Not one man at managerial or board room level putting the interests of the club first.

Faithful thru and thru and aw that aye. Am losing interest rapidly. What’s the point on boycotting merchandise and season tickets. The sad reality is no one who matters cares.

I've tried hard to refrain from name-calling, until my previous post.

But I'm genuinely * aghast at the comments coming from this guy.

"Players have been a let down for months" And why the * was that??

And if you know that people are letting you down. Then what in the * planet made you think that hanging around like a bad smell for the last 5 months would make a * * bit of a difference???

Did you think all the bad eggs were getting shunted out the door??? Because judging by the performances this season, every * member of the squad is a bad bastarding egg!!! And its * unheard of for 30 players to be shipped out the door.

Knowing when to cut your losses, is a skill. And its beyond this * clown shoe. Would maybe have a bawhair of respect left for you. Instead of clinging on like a limpet for a payoff.

Rodgers left us in a better nick than this * will.

 

The worst type of leader is one that fails to take personal accountability and looks to blame the failings of others.

So far this season we've had:

• Players struggling with the pressure of going for 10 in a row
• Players seeking moves away
• New players not gelling with the team because of Covid restrictions
• Supporter hysteria on social media
• Lack of crowds impacting performances
• Supporters protesting outside the ground 'shaking up' the players
• Not having the "rub of the green"
• Scottish Government
• "Maybe giving too much information to the players and overwhelming them"
• Mental resilience of the players

I don't think he even believes half of them himself at this point but if he even gets some to believe it's just a tale of bad luck then it deflects away from his own inadequacies.

Zero respect for him at this point.

 

He better not be taking that game, should be gone tonight. What players will want to play for him now after today's criticism of them?
