Can't devise a coherent plan or team ethos. Therefore can't identify player types who suit that ethos. No style, no structure, no ability to see or react to opposition changes. Relies on superior finances to collect players, throw them together and expect them to dominate the opponents. Tells players to shoot within sight of goal. Shouts "head the ball" at opposition corners. Devoid of any notion of how to generate certain outcomes on the pitch with practised passages of play.

Blames everything on the players, on a virus or anything else to deflect from all of the above. An inept football manager, lacking in introspection and honour.

He shouldn't need to resign any money he would get as compensation would be small change. He has been left in position because they have no alternative and they obviously don't hold him responsible for the rapid decline.

I hope that the truth comes out about the disaster this season has become.

Its up to the board to step in if they feel that the manager isn't performing. I feel for Neil as there are major problems throughout the club and it looks like he will take the blame for it all. He should have left after winning the league when he stood in for Brendan Rodgers.

I'm glad Peter Lawwell has set June as his retirement because he has been holding us back for far too long.

He’s been awfy quiet of late. Silly * used to try to lord it up when Lennon was riding on Rodgers’ coattails.

Calmac looked broken post match then you listen to Lennontaking absolutely no responsibility. Lennon needs to go tonight. Brown, as Captain , should be banging on Lawells and Desmonds door demanding Lennon should be relieved of his duties as he has lost the dressing room not just 1 or 2 players. It cannot be allowed to carry on any longer. Heartbreaking to see where we were to whatvwe have become. Fecking heartbreaking

    He has to go now.

He’s single handedly turned our modern day heroes into villains, players who would of been loved forever and in the history books, players I’d of been telling my kids and grandkids about.

He’s so incompetent that he’s now throwing them under the bus as they’ve clearly lost faith in him.

If you had an incompetent manager in your work would you be happy in your job? Don’t think so.

Browns too far up his * to demand he is removed.

Honestly, put the * on gardening leave or something and just let a random coach take the team each game.

    * it, open it up to the fans, grand a game to be the manager, all money goes to the foundation.

The difference is that Dempster wasn’t using Lennon as a Yes Man the way Lawwell is.

Realistically, the players couldn’t get Lennon out. Lawwell would rather use a revolt as an excuse to sell Edouard etc. Did you see the reaction to 20 year old non-Celtic fan Frimpong getting a massive move to Leverkusen. People in here started shouting him down as a mercenary that was * and was never trying. Baffling. The boy ran himself into the ground every time he played.

This is what annoys me about the pro-Lennon anti-players brigade. It’s essentially giving the board licence to sell all the fine silver to keep the wooden spoon.

It would be far more beneficial to the club to get a decent management team in instead of keeping Lennon - a proven poor manager - in the job out of sentiment.

I would hope now Brown as the captain would have the balls to stand by his fellow players but I suspect he is a yes man too.

Short memories. Our league performances last least were genuinely better than anything Rodgers had given us since his first season. We’ve been on the decline for a good while it didn’t start with lennon

Listened to the first minute or so.. that's all I can listen to him for.. basically said the players are not interested... I presume the rest of the interview will be blaming everyone or everything but himself..

The players have clearly given up on him and in a way I feel sorry for him but he's brought this on himself, no getting away from that, completely out of his depth in the modern game

There is no other explanation as to why he hasn’t left than he wants a hefty pay off.

His arrogance is astonishing, literally unbelievable.
