This is what I take on his appointment...
He'll be getting a great salary but not as much as what Lawwell got with the make up spread out for a DOF.... Probably a more critical appointment apart from a new manager.

 

Of course he couldn't. All employees are the same.

 

We only had to listen to some of the * that's been coming out of the manager and players over the last few months to prove that.

 

Hopefully a man with a vision and actually listens to the supporters.

 

Glad to be rid of Lawwell.

Not overly enthused about this rugby CEO, but hopefully it paves the way for a director of football and Ruggers can go about his business quietly and not interfere with the manager.

 

SRU has been much better run organization than the SFA has been. Whether that translates to success for us as a club remains to be seen. Remember Stewart Regan came from being a chief exec in cricket before he came up here and completely shat the bed at the SFA. But it's not about background, only about what he can do to help get us heading back in the right direction.

Hope your right there and this truly signals we are going in the right direction from a structure standpoint. I certainly have for a while been saying getting rid of Lennon is pointless really until Lawwell is gone and his constant interference in team management.

 

Well he says he is a Celtic fan and I think season ticket holder or used to be. Not sure if he had a Celtic subbuteo team when he was a kid though as we all now that is the true test

Re-establishing trust between the club and us as fans has to be high on his list of priorities I would think.

Actually was in the same year as him at school, he wasn't really a big Celtic fan back then, certainly didn't go to the games so if he's actually a fan he must have started after that.
