Bitton was at least trying to defend. Brown was malice.

He was extremely average for a very long time and peaked like many others under Rodgers. He was genuinely top class for a few years then, 16/17 and 17/18 especially.

Can't believe I'm living in a time where disliking Brown would ever be possible.

    Disbelief

You can see it in not only him, but the other players. The comments from Mcgregor , the body language of some of the foreign lads. I'm sorry but they've chucked it and they don't want Lennon their, and if thats what it takes to get Lennon out, then so be it.

Said this exact thing about him when he got that stupid red v Neymar, and that was around 7 and a half year ago.

A complete tool. Another example of his leadership and how indispensable he is. Hopefully his last appearance.

Good servant but a * load of revisionism goes on when discussing his career here.

Gets a free pass due to his undoubted commitment and desire to play through injuries over the years, but an incredibly limited player.

Having a great engine and being good at 50/50s doesn’t make you a Celtic great, and it sums up the malaise and complacency at our club that he’s been our highest earner and first choice midfielder for so long. He’s had more bad seasons than good ones unfortunately.

Seeing it again there, red card every time.

We would be screaming injustice if it was against us and not a red. He looks twice, sticks his back out and swings through to catch him - he does it to try make it look like its a body check. It was sly and malice.

    That was a riddy tonight.

Thrown another 2 points, just like he did against Hibs with the pen.

I always felt the suggestion he could affect games, even for 20 minutes at the end, was just people struggling to admit he’s completely finished. His leadership is non-existent now. It’s sad people are trying to hold onto it.

Scott Brown is finished as a pro football player. It happened during the pandemic lay off. It’s time to let it go.

No one could defend him tonight for that red card. A team fighting to win the game at 2 - 2 for your Captain to do something like that. Does he have no craft about him? If he wants to do the Livi player wait until the ball is there and do it in the tackle. That one incident just put the icing on the cake of how our season has gone.

There's no rational explanation for what he did. Said it in the match thread, but it looked like a player deliberately getting himself sent off to throw his manager under the bus.

Madness from the guy who is meant to be the leader on the pitch. Worse than what Bitton did a few weeks ago. A cowardly move.

    Frustration took over tonight.

The guys a winner, and being this far behind in the league, self isolation and then being sub tonight. It just all boiled over.

Sad to see, but regrettably predictable
