Lawell should really come out, face the music and say he misjudged the whole thing but of course he won't.

It would be the very least you would expect of the man charged with the day to day running of the club, and would be even a minuscule point of regaining some respect in this clearly fractured relationship between “club” and fans.

Just seen this now after commenting about him leaving the club at the end of the season.

I would 100% want him to go after reading this and have that clear out like people mentioned in another thread.

I think we need a clean break from this unprofessional conduct and I’m sorry to say Brown is part of that Lennon old school mentality at the moment.

Plus if we do have a new manager come in it gives them a clean slate.

Totally agree. Honestly wouldn’t mind one bit if we sold the majority of senior players on, and rebuilt the team around young talents like Dembele, Robertson, Welsh, Soro, Henderson, Johnston, Turnbull, Frimpong etc - plus the few current first teamers who actually try a leg and respect the jersey.

    Embarrassing comments.

You’d think if there’s one player who’d be calling out the farce we are just now it’d be Broony after what Rodgers done for his career.

Trying to protect his pals. Must be getting that new deal.

I’ve got no time for anyone who will be a tool for a corrupt board. He can * off too as far as I’m concerned.

Scott Brown has reached the footballing equivalent of being ready to be sent to the blue factory. No way should he be getting a new deal even if it is on much reduced terms. He is finished at the level Celtic need.

"The manager’s philosophy, which he puts on to us, is how we can work in different ways and different shapes."
Sadly Lennon doesn't give a toss about shapes. Square pegs in round holes.

Very surprised and disappointed in brown with these comments. How can you defend this? It’s caused us to have 14 players out and drop 2 points. Players will lose fitness and take a couple matches to get back sharp?? Shocking decisions all round. Government guidelines say I can leave Dublin but it would be very unwise. Especially if I’ve to come back here to work in a weeks time

Broony is one of my favourite players and I don't want him going down the same road as NL by toeing the party line. I always wanted to remember NL as a Celtic legend however, that's not happening now, and I don't want the same to happen to Broony

I thought this quote was bizarre. It feels like despite toeing the party line he’s trying to hint that tactically Lennon is a riot.

It’s just a strange thing to say.

Seriously respect to his responses, especially on soro.

Guy is an utter Celtic legend.

He's definitely been done for about a year now. Legs looked gone vs Copenhagen if I remember correctly. Unfortunately, the Covid break would have done him no favours at all.

Can't help but love him though, Celtic legend and by all accounts a great guy, just sad to see his decline, wish he would have put his hands up to say he's not at the races anymore so that Soro could have been brought in earlier, as Lennon didn't have the stones to do so.
