End of the day he's gone, no way he's coming back from this and he knows fine well he should have walked a long time ago. It's blindingly obvious he knows he's finished.

The cynical side in me has me thinking that todays effort was done with that purpose in mind. And I would suspect that what was said today went against anything that the PR and those in the board wanted or expected to hear.

Not noticed any coverage of the press conference on the usual platforms. And rightly so.

Someone check the share price because I get the feeling it will have plummeted. And maybe Neil Lennon has forced the hand of the board to do something they should have done months ago.

I agree with what he said, there are huge elements of hypocrisy in the Media surrounding anything celtic. I do have a problem with the timing of this, the passion should have been shown by the club to make a statement in this regard and not the manager. The synic in me says that again NL is attempting to endear himself to the support with this outburst.

So can you hand on heart say your happy with how the club have conducted itself so far this season ?

With regards your huns game comment the answer to that is nobody will ever know cos we lost ... if your auntie had baws and all that.

To get so hung up on the word 'jolly' is bizarre we've been told it was an elite training camp if that was the case why would we take a player who is out for 4 months ? The club backed themselves in to a corner and now can't say it was for team bonding

Agree with him 100% there, for what it’s worth...

Only issue with this “rant” if that’s what you want to call it, is that we had last week the CEO come on and give a somewhat shady apology for the trip (when he then spent the later 4mins justifying it) to our manager out today in major defensive mode and stating he apologises for nothing.

There appears as if there is a lack of cohesion between our senior officials here

I think he wants the sack. He probably knows he has lost and just wants the board to sack him and he is just making sure and giving the board no easier way out.

Lennon is not an idiot. He knows he won't be here next season after this big *-up of a season. The board probably wanted to keep him till the summer so they can start fresh and honestly who would want to take the job now! That is why we won't sign anyone this January, because there will be a new manager in the summer so it would be pointless in building now.

Think he wants his payoff because this is his last big payday. After this he will be lucky to even get any punidt work!

It’s about time someone from Celtic told the female David Koresh in a Heather mixture twin set and her cabal of useless anti Catholic * at Holyrood to go * themselves.

    You're conflating two issues.

The first is hypocrisy around Celtic being criticised more than any other club. He may have a point around that, but he's deliberately trying to turn to pretend the criticism was instead a punishment, which it wasn't. We were not punished, we had to self isolate players because one of them got covid and we had them all close together in a hotel for a week and on two flights. Thank * we did, because if we didn't our entire squad could be ill right now. His bizarre complaint about 13 players needing to isolate was completely disingenuous and quite disgusting.

The second issue is Lennon has refused to apologise and admit Celtic have done anything wrong. Forget about the media, 99% of our support can see that's untrue. If you agree with him, then I'm sorry but you are wrong. If anything, by doubling down instead of apologising he has justified the 'hypocritical' criticism we have face. We clearly do have a privilege problem.

Where I agree with you is on Lennon's motivation. I think he knows he's wrong but he's desperately trying to save his own job so he's trying to build a siege mentality against 'the media' and 'the establishment' like the old days. It's a last ditch, pathetic attempt to save his own skin.

Change the record. The anti-Scottish sentiment is wearing thin.
