Just read on the BBC site what I presume is a quote from Gavin Strachan saying "we thought we'd done enough" in relation to last night. Frankly I think that right there is the problem of our entire season. They seem to be trying to coast through by just doing the bare minimum. And that attitude starts at the top. Lawwell for taking the easy option, instead of doing his job, when appointing a manager, and the manager in, well, everything as far as I can tell.

We are just so amateurish it is frightening.

A fight for second? We don't have the fight for most matches. Never mind McInnes any manager in Scotland should be telling their teams to play for set pieces in our half, lump as many high balls as they can into the crowded box and just watch our defences arses collapse in terror because they still have no idea how to defend them. Half a season in and we are still seeing the exact same mistakes in defence. That is criminal from the coaching side of things.

i honestly cant believe what has went on this season, there were countless opportunities after embarassing defeats to get rid of this useless * but here he is 21pts behind in the league and he is still here. gross incompetance or willfull neglect doesnt do it justice there was melitious intent behind keeping lennon as every * could see we needed a new manager to save the season .

Honestly though how bad does it need to get before action is taken this season is already a write off and has been for months but we could have had someone new in during Oct/Nov give them a few games and then let them get what they need in Jan to give us the best chance next season but nah * that let's just stumble from disaster to disaster to spite the support

Looking back on this season and all that has happened,we would have said no chance that would happen, and lenny not getting the boot because of it we would have said zero chance he would still be here, but here we are and its all happened and hes still here.

I pray he will be kicked out (have done for a while now)but now im starting to pray hes not in the hot seat next season,i mean we are all presuming he,ll be gone at the end of the season but the correct thing would be to kick him our now so a new guy has time to settle in,cant the board see this?(probable not giving how they have dealt with things this season).

Any lets hope your rite and hes gone asap and we can move on.

I won't be in the least surprised - indeed I'll put money on that he still is if he delivers the Scottish Cup

He knows this is his last gig at any half way decent club and he won't end it willingly or prematurely. He'll wait to be relieved of his duties or be reprieved if he delivers the Scottish Cup. He'll then * off to the US or India like other useless third rate tossers like Owen Coyle etc

Surely even with his inflated ego he knows the gig is up unless he's been told differently, which frightens me and wouldn't surprise me...

At 21 points behind lenny no longer has the excuse of thinking he can turn it round. So its then one of two things, the club has said, there is no one to come in and take over, regardless of results we need you to stay in charge. Or as suggested, he is a selfish * grabbing what he can while he can until the day he is forced out.....i no longer know what to believe with this mess.

Even if we assume they can’t get anyone in at this stage he should be coming out and saying he will be gone at the end of the season.

I see many have correctly started calling Rodgers, 'Brendan' or 'Rodgers' instead of snake. Was embarrassing before and hope people have been humbled. A good coach and leader who knew the board were going to shaft him and ruin his career. He walked and I still stand by that it was the board and not him at fault. And Lennon has now become the cow that's been chopped up at the Celtic abbatoir instead. Clarity is a wonderful thing.

Wasn’t the right to manage us, but an absolute class act.

The contrast between how he took responsibility for his shortcomings and how the current manager and back room team have dodged them, is so stark.

I also don't like this fan view that deila was a weak coach and he admitted his time was up because of that . Again another manager not supported by the board and all his nutrition and fitness work was written off by stupid c*nts like Commons and Mulgrew, player cliques and ego destroyed him and that was something he couldn't handle.

He wasn't a big enough name for the players to respect, for me anyway. He tried to get us heading in the right direction but, as you say, the old school members of our squad didn't want to move with the times and downed tools. That fat * Commons should never be welcome back at CP after his antics. Him and a few others.

    Absolutely.

I was never particularly keen on the appointment and wanted him gone after Malmo.

But I was impressed with how he left.

He has as much right to feel a part of the 9iar era as Lennon has.

Personally I hold him in higher regard.
