Your spot on mate Brown has been great for Celtic in his time but he is past his sell by date
and Lennon won't admit it because he's his pal the same goes for Lennon out of his depth
and sinking fast remember no one is bigger than the club so Brown and Lennon [the double act ]
do the decent thing [ CELTIC MATTER ] CHEERIO & THANKS

So demoralising that he’s still here in all honesty. To think we could’ve made the logical decision and sacked him before the international break and given ourselves a chance just makes it worse.

Likely to be 22 points behind in a few hours. 22 points behind a team that we consistently outspend, in January, and our manager still appears to be going strong as far as job security goes.

It’s a sad state of affairs when wether or not I’ll watch the game tomorrow is largely dependent on the Sevco result today.

I’m only watching the games at this point because of Soro and Turnbull.

I often hear some of our fans saying its not as bad as the 90's or during the Kelly's era etc. but, the fact that we could be 22 points behind they feckers today is a total fecking disgrace. We do have a few games in hand but I don't think any other club would tolerate such a points turn around and would have taken the necessary action to remedy the situation. We on the other hand are just pining our hopes on the huns dropping points and that we go on an unbeaten run.

How can you treat this like a fact when we simply don’t know. Why does everyone feel the need to insult a club legend who has never touched a drink in his life.

I for one am sick of the constant abuse of Lennon on this forum and won’t be back until everyone admits he’s MUCH bigger than the club and we are blessed to have him.

    Blah blah blah.

Amazing the amount of teetotallers on here. I mean there must be right, for all the looking down their nose at somebody who enjoys a drink.

It was clear from day one of this season no matter how bad Lennon * up he would be here till seasons end.. untouchable..

Now come seasons end not even Liewell and co will have the balls to keep this fraud on as customers will need convinced of parting with their hard earned.

Leagues over, we let a 9 year old club with a rookie manager thats on the verge of bankruptcy overtake us and win a league in less than 5 months..

    That's Neil Lennons legacy...

To be fair, none of us on here are managing what should be a respected European football club.
We aren't trying to lead by example to motivate, encourage, develop and educate young talent to do well for the club and to better their own development and career.

It not a big ask that, what should be, a professional club actually acts professionally.
Sure we can't go the complete opposite (ala John Collins time here) as the players and motivation will be drilled out of them, but somewhere in the middle - Rodgers - should be expected.

Having a beer after a days travel is okay, on the face of it, if you are already in a positive position.
But when the manager is laying by a pool having a drink with his players on the first day of a training camp, while the season has just imploded around, hardly is setting a good example and most certainly deserves to be criticised for.

Go look at the Dubai thread. I done a one minute search and found pictures of Wenger and Sarri smoking in the dugout, other pics of the likes of Messi, Neymar, Vardy, Wilshere all puffing away.

That’s smoking though (hard to keep up with Lennons many transgressions these days) but there you go.

I guess they are all winners though so it doesn’t matter.

If we were losing this league because of a few bad referring decisions in a tight race, Lennon's status, even if he were to lose the league, wouldn't be that much of an issue. Nor would it be an issue if he was left out to dry in the summer and had all his best players sold.

But this season, our disastrous results, are almost entirely attributable to Lennon's unprofessionalism. He is the main reason why we're 19 points behind the Huns and embarrassed out of Europe in one of the most important seasons in our history. He should never be forgiven for that. He's a disgrace.
