Potential Manager Suggestions?

Lennon could get sacked right now, but due to covid and fans staying away, board will feel no pressure and just get Alex Neil or some other no mark *.

 

Our next manager will be Eddie Howe.

I’d take anyone over Lennon right now.

 

I'd have taken Alex Neil 4/5 months ago. I'd take any * now.

 

The next appointment will be absolute dogshit too. The board don’t want a next level manager and even if they did they lack the competence to obtain one. Lawwell runs an * outfit up here and no manager will work with him unless they’re quadrupling their salary and have no other serious options. Hence, we will get a dogshit manager and hope it works out.

At best we get a manager that has a good couple of seasons then roll the dice again in a few years. Zero core progression at the club. Despite being a rat Rodgers at least tried to upgrade the club, signing players from academies and upgrading coaching and facilities.

We’re already back to 2010 levels and it only took 12 months. The club is not interested in upgrading.

Their faces wouldn’t drop. They wouldn’t give a * whatsoever. I’d love to see them in a room with a decent coach again instead of the * we’ve given them the last two seasons.

 

We need a clean sweep, Manager, scouting & recruitment network and coaches.
All have failed miserably.

 

Won't get anyone good with Liewell there for 2 reasons: 1) he wants someone who is just happy to have the gig and do what he tells them e.g. Delia, Lennon x 2 and 2) anyone good won't work with Liewell as they know he runs the show

 

I wonder if there's any chance we could get Clarke after the euros. I just wonder if that's why they're keeping Lennon until the end of this season. He would certainly be an upgrade.

 

The season is too far gone to get somebody in now to try and salvage it.

They probably won't bring anybody else in now anyway, I can see the board sticking with Lennon until May, and then bringing someone else in.

Said it before on another thread, whole club needs turned on its head, whole backroom staff needs gutted, scouting/acquisition department needs a total clear out.

It needs the house equivalent to a new roof, new kitchen, new bathroom, new driveway and new windows. The type of clear out you do when you go to the dump 8 times with a motor full of *.

That's what we need. Maybe take some notes on how the likes of RB Salzburg do business with their scouting network and tiny budget in comparison to ours.
