Anyone claiming to be a Celtic fan whi then goes and post * like that to his wife.

Sickening wee *, if anyone needs hanging it's them. Scum.

Either way. Bitton can *, all the momentum we had built running up to the game was all undone by him and blew our chance to put some shine on what was at the time, a deceptive and misleading league position.

    * him, * Lennon for * the season to begin with, get them both out of the club. *.

I think people need to remember that Bitton is a guy who is effectively a makeshift centre back for us. He’s actually done that job with far more consistency and no sign of any complaints from him, than I would’ve ever expected him to be able to. He’s a guy who (injury problems aside) is always fit and ready when called upon.

I hope the anger towards him fizzles out because he’s actually been a really good servant to the club. He made a mistake on Sunday by getting turned and was then faced with a decision of either pulling down Morelos or him being clean through on goal.

Regardless, anyone abusing his family is an absolute shitebag.

True but still a dumb * decision to make. If we were one nil up, make the foul and we would have had something to hold onto.
You are right about abusing family, retards.

I jump on twitter from time to time and the amount of horrible wee * in every single post is mental. Really does give * like that a platform.

The ones that annoy me the most, is seeing huns all over Celtic related stuff with their usual patter, but some of the * you see from our own support is rotten as well.

Glad I don’t use it, seems like an absolute cesspit. Full of the dregs of all footballing supports.

Why would any normal person do that? I've been annoyed at players from time to time but my instinct has never been to seek out them or their family on social media. It's a game ffs. There are some right scumbags in our support sometimes. I suppose that naturally there would be given the size of it, but it's sad reading that * nonetheless.

The anonymity of social media has created too many keyboard warriors.

He didn't even deserve the red card, Morelos should've been booked for diving.

Still a top player regardless of what anyone says, has so many attributes, he's been treated poorly by Brendan & now Lenny in relation to not playing him in his natural position of CM & trying to convert him into a CB, which has now even affected his International career with the Israel manager also selecting him as a CB.

Hopefully the new manager next season utilizes him much better.

If I had been the manager of Celtic at any point in the time Bitton had been at the club, he'd be used as a rotation DM/CM. Perhaps instead of shackling McGregor in a holding role (like what has been known to happen), Bitton could play that.

As much as it was a bad call to wrestle down Morelos, Bitton might not have had trust in Barkas to save any resulting shot. He did not know if Ajer could get there in time to close Morelos down a bit.

A proper, good quality CB would've not let the situation unfold as it did. But we had no good CB-s available.

dilly dallies on the ball, day dreams, too lethargic and plays with no intent. During the first half of the rangers game he was lucky to get away without getting the ball pinched, a few earlier games maybe Aberdeen not sure he was like a headless chicken. He is a utility player nothing special about him, not prepared to take a broken nose or put his head in where in counts.

not for me, one of lennons wee favs - he doesn't have a position that suits the club. id move him on and reinvest.

should have buried his header last week, but that tells you all about him - mr average and does just enough to get through a game as easy as possible, he wont impact a game or be a natural winner.

prob says as much about his pace on the turn, the same as duffy - we need players with pace over 10-20 yards - ajer showed this with kent - kent broke away over 10 yards and then ajer was able to catch him with his quick stride pattern - bitton cannot recover and he * himself and thought he was being smart and was expecting a yellow - as much as lennon cost the team, it was also bittons lack of concentration - he is always prone to this he never learns and what you see is what you get with him

top player? what is top about him - he is mr ready salted at best - he wont be remembered when he moves on. he is the john o'shea of celtic. Larsson was a top player, Sutton was a top player - cant throw statements like that about in my opinion.

I think in his first season or so, there were signs that he had attributes which, if honed properly, could’ve made him a mainstay in the midfield for a few years. But yea, ‘top player’ is very strong.

Yeah, he's slow. Nothing wrong with playing a player that lacks place, but it has to be in a place where speed is less important, and where he has someone to cover him with pace.

    - Intelligent in possession & passer
    - Cracking first touch & control
    - Decent technique
    - One of our more composed players in possession against tougher opponents (i.e Europe & Huns)
    - Consistently great passer who likes to be positive in getting it forward when he can instead of choosing the easy backwards or sideways pass
    - Has a cracking diagonal long range pinpoint pass on him
    - Can win the ball back very well when positioned in MF
    - Can ping a shot from distance which he hasn't been able to continue to show from CB in recent seasons
    - Has great awareness in the middle of the park in terms of knowing where to place the next pass, he's a step ahead
    - Gives extra height in both boxes & is better in the air than he's given credit for both defensively & offensively (scored a number of headers under Ronny)

'dilly dallies on the ball, day dreams, too lethargic and plays with no intent', all lazy & inaccurate terms to describe Bitton imo.

The header you talk about he was unlucky with as it was on target until it hit the hun CB which should have been a corner but was given as a goal kick.

Overall he shouldn't be judged as a CB, it's not his natural position & over criticism of him in that position is unfair.

I'm hopeful the new manager next season will appreciate him & utilize him properly.

    Keep.
