    39,309 ST holders in 2016

    52,520 ST holders in 2019

Don't have the exact 2020 figure but it was up on 2019.

Not to stereotype everyone, but that's the size of the bandwagon or 10IAR effect. They'll still get about 40k renewals again next season IMO

That's * mental, mind. Imagine being a manager and having very little input with who you buy and sell. I remember Rodgers saying that.

I'm no footballing expert, but surely you need cohesion at all levels and processes at the club.

As far as I'm concerned the manager has to be an integral part of the recruitment process from start to finish. He lives and dies by their performances.

A free agent from the sixth-placed team in the Dutch second tier? You spoil us.

Regardless of who brings the players in, look at the squad we have. Lennon should have done much better with the players at his disposal.

Get him so far to *. Not even a mention of him being sacked in any of the papers this morning.

I think he does have some say at time's with recruitment but there's no doubt Lawwell has far too much involvement..

    No arguments there..

Don't worry, not kicked an international ball since 2015 at under 18 level.
He's 22 now, very little chance a work permit would he granted for this one anyway.

If what I understand about Brexit and work permits are about right, we will really struggle to sign any marquee signings at all.

Lawwell will be creaming at this, knowing he has an easy made excuse now not to spend.
Add "work permit " to the usual excuses like "we tried, couldn't get it over the line, agent fees"

It's sort of "normal" at a lot of clubs these days.
However most clubs have actual structure to their footballing departments and recruitment.
We use Peter lawwell like a director of football and head of recruitment in one role. And he has no track record of either.

Barcelona are in serious trouble because they allowed the bow exiting president to have far too much say in things when he knows * all.

Completely agree. Can't remember where I have posted it but in a thread I said there is literally no reason why we haven't had a similar or better form and results than the huns. Literally zero reason not to expect this. We were called entitled for thinking this.

    An absolute disgrace.

He’s a better option than Duffy of that I’m sure .... McKenna would have been better money spent as well if we are really serious we should be going for porteous if that’s the market we are looking at
