Would love to see us get another win to keep the recent momentum going, and getting another clean sheet would be huge for us I think. We're slowly getting things back on track and looking a little more confidence.

It was great to see Edouard looking like he was getting back to his best yesterday. It's clear that getting the ball into his feet and getting runners around him is a simple, but effective strategy. I think keeping him and Griff together is a must for now.

Wouldn't mind seeing Brown either start this game, or coming on for Soro if we're looking comfortable. Soro hasn't played all season, and now we're asking him to play quite a lot in a short space of time. Wouldn't want to see him pick up an inury before the weekend.

We shouldn't have let Gordon go.

Aye he's a * but I'd feel much more confident going into this game with him as our keeper.

Would be a game changer in every way. Don't see it tho in the time available, if at all. Lets see

    ...................hazard................
    Frimpong jullien ajer laxalt...
    ..Turnbull soro McGregor......
    ...............Christie.....................
    ...........edoaurd Griff...................

Team really picks itself at moment. Hazard starting yesterday and v Ross county indicates the jersey is his for the foreseeable unless he runs into some bad form. Thought he showed yesterday in difficult conditions that he is well able to come and take a high ball. His cageyness under high balls is more to do with nerves and confidence than ability. We should back him.. hopefully get the win secured early and have Griff edouard Turnbull soro McGregor off as early as possible for ajeti klimala rogic brown and Mikey

Couldn't agree more. If I ruled the world I'd make Liewell crawl on his bare * over broken glass all the way to Gorgie to beg him to come back. Miles better than anything else we have at the club. We managed that situation badly - make him a derisory contract offer thinking FF is coming and then guess what? He stays at Southampton. Can't pin that on Lennon and whoever is in the dugout has to deal with having 3 poor keepers at the club

I'd go with Bain at Ibrox.

    This.

Bain has his shortcomings, but he is a known quantity. Hazard has done well enough for a young goalkeeper, but he looked out of his depth in the cup final (before the penalty shootout). We could replace Barkas with a traffic cone, and be no worse off.

If we are going to play the diamond at Ipox, it is imperative that Ajer and Laxalt are playing at full back for me. Therefore we should be setting up that way for Dundee Utd too,

We need solidity down the wings as that is where they are most dangerous. Think Ajer could handle Kent and you’d need Christie to deal with Tavernier on the right.

If Frimpong starts at right back against them, especially in a diamond, then it’s a disaster waiting to happen, for me.

I agree on the full back's and Frimpong being isolated on possible two against one's..

Totally agree. As a supposedly good "business" man Lawell really made a complete * of that situation.

Did he *, Gordon was * terrible. Absolutely * shocking for us by the end. He should absolutely 100% have been let go.

    We just shouldn’t have spunked £5m on a keeper who’s * useless.

That's nonsense. Gordon was a high quality keeper who put in 8 out of 10 or better performances in most games he played for us

Now that is nonsense mate. Go read his thread. There was a reason Bain came in for him.

Gordon loved a car crash performance in a big game in his last few seasons - whether that be in terms of making a howler or his hospital ball kicking.

In his first 18 months aye. Beyond that nah.

His constant insistence on overplaying it from the back regularly put us under pressure, completely unnecessarily.

We needed a new #1 in the summer and were never going to renew Gordon's £25k a week contract.

If we're sticking with the MF diamond then:

    Hazard
    Ajer Welsh Julien Laxalt
    Soro
    Turnbull McGregor
    Christie
    Edouard Griffiths

I genuinely don’t know why everybody isn’t happy with Turnbull playing where he’s playing. Everycunt’s driving him steadily further back on the pitch :56:
