    David Wagner for a shout?
Done well changing Huddersfield fortunes in the championship, unable to do much with them in the prem, but then did anyone ever expect Huddersfield to do anything but be relegated within a year or two anyway?

Mid table effort at schalke, not impressive but a bit of experience under his belt.

My first choice would still be Marco Silva.
Believe his salary at Everton was around the £3million mark, he won't have got that outside of England and doubt he would demand that again, more than likely in the £2m range, which is what we need to aim at.

Marco Silva, like Roberto Martínez, is a coach who has received an almost cult like amount of plaudits for doing very little of note. He’s won a domestic cup in Portugal and had a couple of surprise victories in charge of Hull and Watford. Other than that he’s been pretty underwhelming, I was shocked he was given so long at Everton to be honest, he should have done much better with that squad and the budget at his disposal.

So I except this is pure unsubstantiated speculation, but I can definitely see Brooney being a surprise appointment at the end of this season.

16 points, even with 3 games in hand and a dodgy defence is nearly impossible to make up, and I feel the board (Desmond) will also give Lennon some sort of advisory role to the board.

I'm not sure this is quite the direction of the club should look to move in, but I just see the board wanting to
1- reward 2 long serving servants
2- the relative cheapness of this option
3- Lennon and Brooney's wish to still be employed at Celtic.

Just think this is more realistic than Eddie Howe

Okay so, as well as Tuchel getting binned from PSG it looks like his assistant manager Zsolt Low is leaving also.

He's been assistant manager at Liefering, Salzburg and Leipzig working under Hassenhutl and Rangnick.

3 of those names haven't managed a club for ages. Keane doesn't have the patience to be a good manager.

O'Neill is a club legend but shouldn't and wouldnt come back.

    Kennedy is a no mark.

After last week's comments by O'Neil, I woudlnt trust him to come back at all.
Keane is a hot head and although I think he would try bring some professionalism back to the club, I think he will be too much like Lennon in not using the modern styled that modern footballers want. Development of players will be non-existant as well.

Kennedy, a little bit of me thinks he is being a sly * and biding his time for the job, I think he must surely have a better approach and idea to football management specially considering who he's worked with at the club and the good words spoken. Which poses its own issue that if this is true, he is actively * over Lennon and the club for his own gain. So either way, sly * or just useless. Not good.

Coyle, McKay, Ross, Neil, any of these sort of names are the same dross that is just not up to the mark for Celtic.
If that's the level we are going to yet again accept, we may as well give up now.
