Yeah been snooping around google trying to see different league manager wages and figure how best to present it.
So far, needless to say - take out the likes of Juve, Inter, Madrids, PSG, Monaco, those clubs with silly money and ideas of winning European competitions (or at least going extremely far), then you get to your Atalanta's of the world and they are paying around £2million to their manager (2.2 euro), as are most teams around the 1-2million mark at the level of Napoli, Milan, Torino, Lille, Nantes, in Germany they seem to pay a bit more, but the value we are able to spend (I feel we could push further still), which is the rumoured Lennon money, is on par with Wolfsburg, Hertha and the likes.

We are paying that sort of money to a Hibs and Bolton reject.

Assuming the rumoured £2.4million, which I think is high and just can't believe for a moment we are paying that at all.

    The point does remain:

Any time we have faced half-decent opposition this season, we’ve either lost or shipped 2-3 (or more) goals.

When that stops - we will have turned the corner.

    Not until.

Lennon’s biggest game of the season is 02.01.21

I feel he has to win at ibrox to keep his job.

If st Mirren can ask questions then they can be got at ,but a big problem starts to arise wen we concentrate on trying to stop them , we are the champions we done the quad treb ,we wer invincibles ,we need to make this game about us and not them , but it ain't no good until we realise that every game we play in the league is now a cup final ,realise that again and we may get ourselves back into this * show .

That's great, but we don't have the luxury of 120 minutes and a penalty shootout in most games. In a 90 minute match we threw away a 2-0 lead against a Championship team. I honestly have no idea how you can take any positives from that.

The players have always been fighting and trying. That was nothing new. The problem was and remains the manager.

I'm pretty sure that Rodgers was on around 2.5 million a year (and possibly an additional bonus). There is no way that Lennon is getting anything like that - he was unemployed when Rodgers left having just been effectively "fired" from his last 2 jobs.

His appeal at the time was he was cheap (wages + no compo), available and knew the club.

The figures I've see are around 800k with a possible bonus taking it to 1m.

Frankly, he's a wage thief at those rates - if it was ever confirmed (which I really doubt) that he was getting paid circa 2m a year - every Celtic fan should get down to Celtic park and express their disgust.

Aye that's what wage I had him on as well, but a few weeks back another poster claimed it was £2.4 and a quick Google seemed to agree with that

Either way, we are vastly over paying him or we can vastly do better by going to that value and should be.

£2.5million gets you a good quality manager the level below your absolute top tier managers.

Lennon is so far below the level needed it is unreal.

Fair enough on the pished up anger. I admire your confidence and belief things will change. Unfortunately I, like many others, don’t and can’t share such confidence as there has been very little evidence that he can do anything differently. He might be trying his best but it simply isn’t good enough.

We could never do what Hearts did to us, fighting back in the second half, this season.

Despite what he has done at the weekend, he needs to go. We'll get beaten comfortably at Ibrox, and he should go. Will he? I doubt it. If that result happens and he stays at the helm, we'll lose the league before the last month of football. Shocking really considering he should've been sacked a long, long time ago.

I agree. But he won't. He has to go. There's no forgiveness if he loses at the * pit.

Lennon will start moi and christie in the old firm game and it will allow tavernier , barasic , kent and roofe to double up on our full backs and we will get battered , really isnt the best tactically , needs to get more width in the team , not try and open up space for the full backs as we keep getting caught out !

We need width, or at least the ability to vary our play.

Right now everything is so * central our wide players aren't wide players, as soon as they get the ball they are all trying to come in field, crowding the middle as opposition players run with them. Then it becomes * easy to defend against.

We need wingers and full backs to attack and run to the byline, draw out defenders, open space in the box rather than * run into it and over crowd it.

Let's face it you'd fail to see any positives if we'd just won the champions league with Neil Lennon in charge. We've just won the quadruple treble but fail to see any positives? You're a crackpot. Your wee online campaign against Neil Lennon which started from the first minute he got the job has just descended into a idiotic load of trolling *.

To be fair, the majority of those trophies was won by a different manager, 40% of the ones Lennon won was gift wrapped and laid on a plate for him.

And 11 of those 12 happened all more than 6 months ago.

The issues of this season, this run of form, this fall in form is still very very relevant and is extremely highlighted by exactly what doofy I'd saying, we don't have 120 mins and a penalty shoot out every game.
We have 90mins. And we saw in 90mins everything that is wrong with the team this season.

He needs to go, he will be out thought and we will be out played wen we visit Mordor.

He has tried all the different formations using the same players and they are not responding to his tactics. He brought Soro and Turnbull in and we started looking a bit better then he resorted to his pals act on Sunday and we seen how that panned out.

The huns game gives me the absolute fear, we know most of their goals come from set plays, we either tighten up and sort this schoolboy * out now or it could be a * miserable day.

and won the quadruple treble. You only want to acknowledge the 90 minutes so we can say the first 45 was good, you're implying we got 90 minutes of a * performance which is incorrect. Did you seriously think Hearts would just lay down and let us put another 2 or 3 past them in the second half and be humiliated in the Scottish Cup final. Of course im not saying we were perfect but for fucksake we've just won a quadruple treble and all you get from old Dufus is yet more crying and whining. The guy is one miserable, depressing, colossal pain in the *.

I'd be amazed if we even qualified for the champions league with Neil Lennon in charge. There are plenty of people on here who weren't happy when Lennon got the job and, IMO, we have been proven right.

I'm delighted we won the quadruple treble but I'm not blind. We were very lucky to win last year's Betfred thanks to a truly world class performance by Forster and the Huns missing a penalty.

On Sunday, we beat a championship team on penalties after extra time. The Hearts manager showed a much greater tactical knowledge and ability than Lennon did (although frankly that's not difficult).

I don't remember any of Rodger's teams relying on extra time or penalties to win cup finals and they were against Premier league teams.

We have been total **** for 90% of this season and Lennon has usually talked BS where he's talking about a different game than everyone else watched. On the rare occasions he has admitted we were **** - he's blamed everyone but himself - usually the players.

Are you denying that we have regressed under Lennon or that this season has been a **** show featuring IMO the most pathetic performance I've ever seen from a Celtic team in the 2-0 defeat by the Huns.

Your little rant about an "on-line campaign against Neil Lennon" is such a pile of **** - the results, "performances" and comments from Lennon this season validate any professional criticism that I've see on here - the board also deserve criticism.

You are just doing what Lawwell and the board tried to do - use the quadruple treble to gloss over the disaster this season has been to date culminating with the almost certain loss of 10IAR.
