I like lenny and we scraped over the line yesterday and yes he may win more games, but i would not get to carried away if i was you.He is currently in charge of a team that needs to score at least 3 goals to win a game and with better teams we need to score 4 or 5.
He refuses to drop players despite form or age.
He has lost the support of most fans.
He does not even have the support of his coaches judging Kennedy interaction with him or lack off.
There is more pain ahead of that i am sure, this team is no where near the corner some think we have turned.

Won despite him,the lottery of a penalty shootout is all that saved us from utter humiliation yesterday

Thanking Lawwell and Desmond before the players tells you all that you need to know

Losing the game would not of been humiliation yesterday. Hearts would have beaten other teams but destiny was on our side

But fir all this talk of ‘corner being turned’

We lose 2-3 goals a game against almost any decent domestic opposition

Don’t listen to anyone that tells you it’s corner turning time; that’s when we beat teams that are half decent without letting in 2-3 goals.

I had a really good think about this - it ain’t gonna happen this season. Our defenders are not good enough, it’s as simple as that. Which is sad.

If we had taken the plunge a month or two ago and got someone else in we’d be in a much better position right now. Devastating that we didn’t do anything and now we’re stuck here.

I think the worst thing about it all is many of the fans have now been broken to the point that their standards have been lowered. Despite barely any improvement people are now happy with how things are going.

Lennon struts about like he’s proved a point.

    Dire stuff.

Of course it’s an incredible achievement. Well done to him for that. That good enough for you?

Ironic that you like dishing out your patter about people not giving Lennon credit whenever he has a good result or achievement. Given that you’ve went AWOL on here the last couple of months when the results have been, largely, embarrassing and Neil Francis Lennon has been under pressure.

    It’s quite sad, really.

The league is gone under Lennon, we play well for two games then he reverts back to type by playing his mates for sentimental reasons and we play awful like alot of us said we would.

Does anyone think that's the last time he'll do that, some excuse will get made (food poisoning lol) and brown et al. will be put right back in for the hun games.

Let's see how he deals with County and the zombies. Not hopeful of the ibrokes game at all but the board have clearly stated their intention of seeing how he does into 2021...

The cup win should have no bearing on this season's calamities. Using excuses about Covid, empty stands and players lounges - on top of an unconvincing performance again yesterday - has only increased the scrutiny on him and rightly so.

Beat the Huns at their midden and we have a chance. Lose that game and it confirms what most of us expect that the season and manager are done.

Even the biggest optimist like me thinking right we've won a couple of games, the huns are shipping a couple of goals maybe just maybe if we can try and pressurise them then it might get interesting. That thought evaporated pretty quickly watching that yesterday after a half decent start. All our flaws were there in glorious technicolour from the management team through to the weaknesses on the park. We were
Any type of pressure on us at all and we fold like the proverbial. We got lucky with that lottery at the end....in fact lucky to get to it!!

    Exactly.

Opposite end, Lennon is only 49, would be considered a relatively younger manager with another 20-25 years in him, but is quite literally a dinosaur in his approach to the game.

Philip cocu is 50, a much more modern out look to the game.

Rodgers, 47, and manages the game about 30 years of a time difference to Lennon.

He put the quad Treble in jeopardy yesterday by playing his mate instead of Soro who has impressed every time he's played. There was no reasonable justification to play Scott Brown, he's been sub-standard all season. That is bad management.

No, he didn't play good no matter what way you dress it up, he got on the end of a corner that led to the third and did nothing else but wind up two no-marks in Naismith and Halliday all game.
