Tell me why Brown should start the cup final ahead of Soro based on recent performances?

How you can't see playing brown against hearts when he's been a complete liability this entire season, creating a risk of us losing and taking all the momentum out of our past 2 games is beyond me and highly ironic given what you just said.

We need this cup to continue our momentum now is not the time to start feeling sentimental, play the players who deserve to play, We can’t underestimate the significance of what lifting a trophy could do to this group of players as they continue to rebuild their confidence please for the love of * don’t mess with what is working right now for the sake of past loyalties now is the time to show managerial ruthlessness

It's the type of short-sighted sentimental pish that cost the old Huns 10-in-a-row.

I'm pretty * sure he'll cope just fine against Hearts, mate. Feel free to bring this post up if I'm wrong.

He shouldn't pick them for the next league game, no. As others have said, the team for this year's league should be picked on this year's performances and that means Soro, Turnbull and Klimala have earned their places IMO.

Nah, doing an "I told you so" after a celtic loss wouldn't feel good. All I'm saying is there will be plenty of time for sentiments and basking in the glory of past achievements when we win the ten, the best way to ensure that is if we keep momentum going. This means we have to play the best team against Hearts.

    He shouldn’t.

But if you’re deluded enough to think that if Brown is picked to play and should refuse, then you should go fling * at the moon...

I didn't mean to imply you were that sort of person. Sorry about that.
Look, I get what you are saying and it's a fair point.

From the interview, I think Lenny's likely to play at least Broony and probably also Christie- I'm only saying I can see his point. It makes sense from a fairness and man management point of view to give last season's cup final to the players that earned it. It also makes sense, as you say, to maintain momentum.

I can see both sides of this. I won't complain whichever Lenny chooses.

    I'm confident we'll win.

I don't have a problem with that, so long as it's not Ntcham next to him.

Starting with Soro and Turnbull instead of Brown and "x" gives us a better chance of winning it, therefore I'd rather they started.

I want Celtic to win the cup, not Scott Brown.

He can walk the team out instead of Lennon then if it’s that big of a deal to have him lead us out.

For the good of the team I think that's what a selfless captain would do

I see what you did there. Rogic plays like the ball is glued to his feet. Glue on feet. Sniffing feet. Sniffing glue. Class.

You’ve still got it me ol’ son.

Possibly, but it's also possible his experience of that type of occasion could be invaluable...

    And he deserves the opportunity.

His comments about reverting to his usual team selection for the Scottish Cup final are further proof that he is totally * clueless. Our upturn in form is down to the forced inclusion of a few talented individuals, whom Lennon had ostracised, nothing more.

Picking a team based on some misguided notion of loyalty, rather than merit or tactical considerations, is insane. Spare me the nonsense about it being a masterstroke of man management: it will further alienate the players who might, perhaps, salvage our season

He is gambling not only the quadruple treble but the rest of our season to reward his pals for a half-season of failure.
