I remember last season Forster was waxing lyrical about some Celtic young goalkeeper . Was it hazard or doohan?

Why not give him a run, Bain done well initially and kept his spot for a time.... why not allow Hazard the same?

 

My policy with keepers is you keep playing them for as long as they don’t make a * of it. Anything else is harsh.

 

Craig Gordon was on Radio Scotland before he joined Hearts and said both Hazard and Doohan had the potential to be the Celtic No 1.

 

If Lennon won't play him Sunday the kid should ask to go put on loan this January..

And anybody behind Duffy in the team selection should do the same.

2 goals may have went in but atleast he dived and attempted the save. He never barkas watched it roll in.

 

I like Hazard (the Duke ) and would keep him in, on Thursday night constantly communicating with the defence, shouting out at team mates when mistakes were made. For me anythings better than the Greek * statue who seems to have a mad stare of fear going on and never utters a word, at least when Ive been watching him. He's an expensive dud, get rid pronto.

 

It’s this simple: either Lenny plays Hazard and hopes he is good long term, or play Bain/Barkas, get sacked, we lose the league.

Tomorrow will be very very interesting.

Play him, he could be our keeper for years to come, good communicator and has a real physical presence. Definitely the best option we have right now.

 

I'm torn.
Either way we need a new coach.

But hazard showed he's on a par with what's been seen by barkas and Bain so far this season.

But we all know the entire setup is a disaster and pinning errors on the keepers who aren't actually making many fundamental errors is a bit harsh.

Barkas and hazard for me deserve to start at the weekend, but they both deserve to have organised squads in front of them who know what's what.

I'd be inclined to start hazard a bit more, purely on his confidence being higher and that can maybe see him through. Plus at 22 we really need to be giving him a chance already. Same for other "youth" who are now in their 20s and being neglected.

I'm still swithering as, in all honesty, he never really had a lot to do on Thursday (which showed how well we actually played) so it's hard to judge him. However, I did like how he was always shouting at the defenders in front of him which Barkas doesn't do and looked confident which Barkas certainly doesn't do.

 

I’d play him.

Barkas is a grade A DUD! A language barrier doesn’t prevent you from actually trying to save a shot. The guy is an abject failure.

play the young fella and see what he can do, it can’t be worse than the other pair of fannies.

 

Thought he was under 20

Just shows how * we are from bringing through our own either play him or let him go elsewhere

 

Hazard is staring tomorrow. WHY wouldn't he start as the manager doesn't trust the other 2??

Hazard for me, a keeper must command his box and communicate with those in front of him. Thursday was the first time this season our keeper could be seen and heard bossing the defence. Play him and keep playing him, he's as good as we've got right now. Who knows, maybe he's our keeper for the next 10 years.
