Still acting like all of this has happened independent of him, and it's just transpired with no real cause.

Also I don't think "I've been here before as a manager" is the defence that he thinks it is.

We aren't conceding from a set piece tomorrow either so that's good

They did but I think Rodgers promptly left when he realised they were playing games and had no ambition to progress the team to seriously compete in the Champions League.

Rodgers spunked away our hope of champions league runs with his awful recruitment.

I'm really not sure how to feel about lawwell/the board vs rodgers, we definitely missed out on some targets that would have improved the team, but he and congerton also went after some real overpaid * like compper and we pushed our overall wage bill up quite a bit in his time, so it's not like he wasn't given any backing.

Last night was brilliant, watched the highlights this morning which is the first in a long time.

So much energy and freshness to the team. It was a joy to watch!

The fringe players that shone last night have been at Lennon’s disposal all season and he now has to face the facts if he wants to keep his job. His favourites haven’t delivered this season so let’s give the players who stepped up last night a consistent run. And stick to the 4-3-3 / 4-4-1-1, we looked much more cohesive and compact in that system last night.

I still want change long-term in the managers role and the board room but nothing is going to change between now and next year, so let’s get behind the team!

I have no doubt their is something to that but not to the whole detriment of the whole team

You can talk a load of the pish to some of the people some of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you cannot talk pish to all of the people all of the time.

    You're spot on,

We'd have turned the corner long ago if he wasn't in charge.

All the evidence points to last night being a one-off.

What it does prove though, is that we have decent players and a decent squad that should be confident of winning the league relatively comfortably.

Lille are better than anything we'll face domestically this season, and better than anything the Klan have played in Europe.

Don’t think anyone is saying that and that result last night wasn’t a fluke this Celtic side has the ability to beat teams like Lille and Milan just under management team they have not faired well .... still scoring 3 goals is no fluke winning a 1-0 is a fluke

    You sure that was Rodgers?

I don't think it was tbh.

Still want Lennon and those other two out asap....last night proved how * they are.

I'll back the manager if we see a tangible improvement in both performances and results and beat the huns in a few weeks time. Sadly I can't see that happening unless he tightens up the defence and plays players on form and desire rather than past reputation. The fact he's in a job right now is a joke and a slap in the face to every celtic fan who pumps money into the club year in year out.

Some of his signings were horrific mate, he signed Hendry because he marked Sinclair out of a game.

He must play Turnbull and soro on Sunday or he needs sacked if we don't get the three points .
It's amazing we have took 4 points out of 6 against a very good french team but got pumped against a average Sparta team .
