Aye, well they sent Griff away from the club to get help and let others carry on in his place..

So, if he has mental problems other than sports related then all the more reason the club should relieve him of his duties and let him get help he needs.

Every manager signs knowing that its results that matter ,regardless of any other issues outwith , I truly believe they have listened to his reasons for this collapse and either feel he has made a true reflection or have been actively finding a replacement atm .

It was refreshing to hear Cal berate every aspect of that game that included the players and indirectly the manager.

Won’t be anymore of that happening now, the Celtic PR system is well in place to give players a Happy Clap spiel.

Roll out players that aren’t as much in the firing line, Jullien/Griff and have them declare unity and desire.

Laughable that they think that will wash.

I understand this is all hypothetical and reading between the lines of the boards statement but it’s not that straight forward and employer support for mental health issues does not include “sending” people away.

The employer needs to work with the employee to support what’s best for their needs and to make reasonable adjustments that they both agree to.

Thing with Neil Lennon is he has always been the type of guy who is extremely high and happy when things are going his way but seems to go to a severe opposite extreme when things start to unravel. He's emotionally worn down and isn't fit to sail the ship so to speak. Its no good for his mental health as well as clubs fortunes.

Ironic that I would actually like that * to be hit by a lorry.

Not a bad one or dying or anything, just enough to shut him the * up for a while.

Odd that isnt it : Barca, Real Madrid and Man Utd going through the same ( squad related turmoil ) at the same time as oursleves.

Zidane, Koeman and Solskjar under scrutiny but all ( allegedly) being backed by their Boards like Neil L.

Exactly, thats probably the main reason why he has to step down, for his own sake. Except the Board keep stringing him along like a puppet and he goes with it due to his his blind loyalty to Desmond and Lawell.

Maybe there's some Covid restriction that prevents them from sacking a manager :47:

Is anyone along the same lines as this is an accumulation of 3+ seasons, under Rodgers last season things were looking nervous, cracks emerging and it was then things should have been realised then to do the following steps, i.e.

    - time to get a holding midfielder, bring in some muscle and legs in the midfield area as brown, rogic, ntcham are not the answer
    - strengthen the midfield mc gregor cannot tackle, nor can he play in European games, Christie is greedy balls and I would imagine eddie thinks he is a walt - anytime there is a free kick, corner or pen he will try and steal the ball like a playground spoilt child.
    - sign a proper attack minded right back
    - look for a long term goal keeper
    - a leader at the back who can read the game.
    - bring in someone to shadow eddie once he gets sold in the next season etc.

When we play against the dark side we are being over run, bullied and they want it more.

We make the same mistakes, and whatever level of football you play or coach they are basic errors which working on the training ground can try to make amends.

Basic * - men on the post from corners.
Taking corners - work 4-6 well played out moves - I see our corners and it is pretty much whack it in and hope for the best - the same with cross field free kicks it is actually embarrassing. It is clear the manager lacks any flair or creativity - what do you expect he played like a crab with sideway safe passes.

At this rate the only way celtic will stop conceding goals is to play with a sweeper fs.

Back to basics play 4-4-2 or 4-4-1.

With talk of el hamed moving home in Jan looking likely to move this season is a * show but hey ho disco lights and a hotel passed in planning permission whoop de * do.

our transfers are shocking, I cant believe someone gets paid professionally to make decisions - Hayes, Gordon, Hendry, Simunovic, Kouassi - I would take them back and start them fs lol jesus we are a joke talk about regression.

To say they all cost a packet...all played against us
meling - rosenborg now at mines - less than 1million
    karlsson - sparta prague - 1.7mil

    * lennon - just walk away you haven't a scooby do you will still claim the players are unfit in April time, and you can still turn it around. it isn't personal.. we just want better! you are not suited to our needs and demands as a club, you are not the answer.

in closing, the rangers defeat isn't the worst - the hibs, Aberdeen, st j and ross county ones will be the ones which hurt come the end of the season and cost the team. 6 points dropped and out of a comp domestically.
